After rowing an incredible 2800 miles from Monterey, California, the team of Liz Wardley and Lena Kurbiel, representing Australia/Papua New Guinea and France, arrived Monday evening local time in Hanalei Bay, Kaua'i. The arrival area was lit up with tiki torches and fires, and the sound of the waves created a tranquil vibe and perfect setting for the arrival. The team completed their journey in 37 days, 16 hours, and 33 minutes. 🏁
