#Chiodos #AllsWellThatEndsWell
Current high schooler here, been going down a scene rabbit hole and found this band. This album came out the year I was born, and it’s always awesome finding comments from 6+ years back. It’s like looking through a time machine, and discovering a whole era of history. It doesn’t seem that long, but damn. Hope y’all Chiodos fans are doing well, this shit goes unequivocally hard
This is why I love UA-cam comment section the most c:
I saw them on the tour they filmed this video during haha Taste of Chaos 2007 they opened for The Used, 30 Seconds to Mars and Senses Fail were direct suppprt
@@hunterwilliams8923 was there ... best times in emo -golden years
06 here HIIIIII
Welcome young one. 32 here, and I remember bumping this in high school. Bone palace ballet is a good album by them too.
2024, we are still here.
We lasted YEARS in the creek, bubby
how is this 360p is my question
@@RobertoReyesChHC who cares lol nothing to do with sound
@@VeX_89 It wasn't a dig smart guy Im actually surprised how high quality it is for being 360. DERP.
Turns out WE could last more than a minute in the creek
@@RobertoReyesChHC girls, you’re both beautiful. 💐
The opening to this song is one of the greatest openings to a song I've ever heard
This was the anthem for my sophomore year.
@Devin Poole it's not crazy hard, but if you think it's "really easy," you're playing it wrong.
@Devin Poole that could be. The left hand is really easy. If you're really good with quick right hand stuff like that fast alternate picking/palm muting and open notes between the open d string and the melody. At least for my friends and I in high school, this intro was harder to learn than sweep picking and legato, so maybe we just weren't fast enough at pedaling. Like we had a harder time with it than we did learning Alaska by BTBAM.
Try kalmah - hades or atreyu - lip gloss and black
I need an instrumental of this so fucking bad i do vocal covers anyone that can help please respond
Nearly 32 years old, and I still adore this song after all these years.
Same
Same here
Boom. Right there with you!!
Keep its up
I’m months from my 32nd birthday and still enjoying this too.
"If your stomach feels weak then my work here is DONNNNNEE!" That was always my favorite part. Haha
Best part of the song for sure lol.
I live for that breakdown... then the TOO high from my TWISSSTED ways 🤣 my teenage self would SCREAM that lmao.
It was also amazing when in the passenger seat high as fack and hear this for the first time at 18 years old going home to be greeted with your mom “How was your night” with a smile haha nostalgia
That and "Float like angels" definitely the best vocal parts of the song
My favorite part too🖤🥲 they have such amazing lyrics ! I remember in high school I got made fun of for wearing chiodos shirts, but I stood my ground was like YOU DONT EVEN KNOW HOW FUCKN AMAZING THEY ARE NDCKDKX ^_^
No choruses or verses just a gnarly progression from start to finish. This song is a piece of art.
good point. it just keeps evolving. there's not many songs like this in hardcore music. Chiodos had some brilliant ideas.
You look like crackhead Justin Bieber if he lost a few teeth
A bunch of random kids in Michigan really woke up one day and said, “let’s make the greatest post-hardcore album ever created.”
I remember this cd I got from buying a shirt at hot topic. Im 26 now, and still listen to this every now and again.
Same
It's a pure gem
am 32 and still listen to them lol
Ricky bobby
Did yours come with the dvd? I still watch that dvd religiously lmao 😂 fuckin classic
I remember banging this loud as fuck while going 100+mph to go to a midnight release of a video game with my buddy at a gamestop. People will never know how amazing this time in our lives were and I'm SO GLAD you guys were apart of it.
Few of us know brother!
damn, I've never had the chance to sing this with ,y friends
That’s a fact
In Afghanistan
Craig owens , jonny craig, vic and aaron Gillespie..... everytine I could i plugged my shitty ipod nano into my my available ear and gave me years of comfort even during firefights. Kept me sharp and reminded me of how much I changed in such a short period of time yet NEVER have I went a week without playing songs from this album along with all the others of the time.
When the devil wears Prada album plagues came out . Nothing would keep me sharp while I pulled security (basic look out of certain lines of sight of our location) the way this era did .
Now I hit the even originals of the genre like glassjaw ect
I concur with all these artists you mentioned. They were all game changers for me as well. Cheers brotha!
almost 33 years old and still my favorite chiodos song undeniabley
I couldn't agree with you more
same!
Almost 60 years old, I'm currently 24, and I STILL love this song!
true
What lol?
@@davycornell8715 lol I think they used voice to text and “16” became “60”. 😂 if that’s not it then I literally don’t know
@@JasonEyestone lol maybe. But the almost part. Fuck idk man lol.
It’s been 125 hasn’t it?

Kristopher Dardeman pretty sure same year I saw them too!
Kristopher Dardeman Legend has it you still haven't found her

And CHIODOS REMAIN.. LOYAL past all the bs and breakups say wutttt

Fuck yeah dawggggg
Yeaaaaahhh
2024 San Francisco
Duh
Nah. I'm in 42069. What the fuck kind of comment is this? What is the end goal in people commenting this line????
This has aged remarkably well. I thought this was just a weird experiment when I heard it as a teen, but this idea still legit heavy, and legit creepy
oh my god i’m about to start listening to this every day like it’s 08
I've been doing the same thing for the last 4 months and I shit you not I ended up buying tight black pants and stretched my ears again 😭 it's been a hard year lmao
@@BDChupacabra HAHAHA, it has
@@BDChupacabra I mean, black jeans are always cool no matter what
@@omegazx7236 nah I got told I was having a midlife crisis at 28 lmfao. I also live in conservative ass west texas where everyone dresses as cowboys everyday. With wrangler jeans 5x as tight as mine
This song randomly played today while I was working.
I was brought back to high school.
Good damn those were the days.
I'm 33 now, it's been a while.
35, and yes they fuckin were
Listened to this on repeat in high school. Still listen to it on repeat at 30
IT'S DECEMBER 2023 AND I'M STILL LISTENING TO THIS MASTERPIECE.
God, highschool me was bumping the fuck out of this whole album on my iPod😂 much simpler, better times lol
My best friend and first love dedicated this song to me one point in our lives and she's dead now, has been for several years and I can barely listen to it now 😞 she was so beautiful, y'all. Inside and out. 💔
My condolences! x"(
This is mine and my husband's favorite song. We blast this and sing it all the time. I was 16 and he was 20 when this came out. We didn't meet until I was 22 - this song came on my iPod and he lost his shit and knew every word... I was like... Okay I'm marrying you 👍
Nice 👏👏
@EvilShake101 no, law is 5 years or more but after 16 you are basically legal
thenumbersixlookslikeyou she said she met him when she was 21 but the song came out when she was 16 and he was 22. They didn’t know each other when the song came out
noice
@EvilShake101 troll
2020 WE STILL HERE
ALWAYS
2021*
Currently 34 with three kids. This was my daily high school band. Seeing this is literally like stepping into a Time Machine, and even though I’m older now then they were in this video, I still can only see them as the older badass dudes I look up too. Forever a fan. ❤
2020 now and this is still one of my favorite song to go back and listen to every now and again.
This song is magical. I was just paralysed in a motorcycle accident and this song is on repeat when I do physical therapy
damn bro, wish you luck and sending love your way on your recovery.
Keep at it you can do whatever you set your mind to
2024! I saw this bands last show as the real chiodos with Craig and all the original guys together. This was my favorite band when I was 16 and this was my favorite song and all these years later it still makes my spine tingle hearing the intro riff. This was the soundtrack to my later teenage years. I hope they realize how much of an impact their music has made on peoples lives. Some things are too good to fade away Some things last forever.
I never forget going to a random show and my friends buying my way in and that was the first time I ever heard them and loved them ever since. 2006 was a good year for music imo
still slaps hard. Imagine if this was 2020 quality
still holds up even after being 13 when i first heard it. in my 30s now. time flies. miss this kinda music.
turned 30 this year. this was my favorite song when i was a teenager. i gotta say, ive come a long way.
I remember taking my husband to this concert with thirty seconds to mars he hated it lmao but I loved it
2 years later: Are you & him still married?
I reckon they are thats how successful relationships work you dont go around looking for your clone what kind of egomaniac does that?
in his defense, 30 sec to mars is trash live. def studio band like jimmy eat world
HE HAS GOOD TASTE. Lol.
You need a new husband
Lyrics
I've been hiding in this bed for weeks from this
Throats raw from screaming and I haven't said a word
The sky is calling, and the stars they point to this
To a chair we see your breath in the air, but only for a little while
Your cold pale skin and tainted purple lips
Let me embrace you with this kiss
And together we'll float like angels
Together... together we will float, like angels
Higher than the heavens the clouds part ways
'Promise me to never look down!' and we'll stay like this forever
If your stomach feels weak than my work here is done
To hide from our twisted ways, I've been hiding in this bed
Been hiding in this bed for weeks
Almost 43, and i still rage to this track like i did almost 20 years ago!
One of the best intros of all time. All Time!!!
THIS SONG LIVE WAS SO SICK ✊✊✊
The way they synced the lighting in the intro, fire.
Man we had such a great time growing up to this. You won't find this greatness again
I once crowd surfed and got thrown on stage during this song ...one of my best memories 💞
I was 16 when this came out damn can't believe it's been that long ago I'm 23 now
Best time to be alive is now lol so much is going on
same man
Same. It's crazy.
:)
same :))))
This was my jam back in the MySpace days. I had one of those annoying music playing profiles, and this was my shit. Still as badass as I remember.
Together we will float like Angels
29 years old and im still here.. Those dayss.
Seriously! Takes me back to the scene days
The drum machine during the breakdown goes so hard. Such a great song.
This song, and band, are just so amazing I could literally cry.
CHIODOS TURNED ME INTO A SCENE KID it was hard for a black dude to like the music i did FFTL and chiodos were my bands as well as Bring me the horizon and blessthefall im 33 now and man nostalgic so hard. makes me wanna cry
I was here then, I am here now, and I will be here... FOREVER.
that's wat makes craig so awesome. he has an unrefined an highly emotional voice.
Best breakdown ever
I use to listen to this whole album before my races back in 06,07. Still remember all the lyrics at age 34. The best is the memories I’ll have with just my dad and I traveling around the Midwest racing motocross.
I had an African guy working with me that was studying to be a doctor. I played Chiodos a lot at that time, and I remember him saying, “What the hell is that?! Turn that off!” I laughed, but loved Chiodos. I’ve seen them a few time’s, but the last time, Craig was at his best because he seemed sober. That was the first time I saw I See Star’s. Great show to go to.
Chiodos will never get old. Hands down one of the best bands to come out of the 2000’s
I remember seeing them at 13yrs old and falling in love. I'm now 20 and I can't wait to see them again in a few weeks.
I FINALLY saw them at warped and Craig was there wow.. seeing him in the flesh is crazy the best show I've ever seen
U still listen to them?
@@jsky2310 Yup! Still listening
Nov2019 still here❤ old chiodos will go to my grave with me.... I absoloutely love love love this album.... Takes me back to the good days.... Before i knew they were the good days..... I feel like i died in 2007 and this record always makes me feel alive again....
I miss these days so much sometimes.
I remember when this song first came out. What a great way to spend my emo days.
Good times, the 2000's was the last decent decade in my opinion. I miss the early years of band's like Chiodos, Circa Survive, Saosin, The Fall of Troy ect. Not just the sounds but the styles as well, as much as I like tattoos, piercings and heavy metal, I do miss the clean cut look and sound of a lot of band's like this back then.
Ahem... Coheed... Who's still making good jams
lmao
Dgd is still going strong
Fun fact for those who didn't know, my buddy Thomas Erak (lead singer and founder of Fall of Troy) ended up playing guitar for Chiodos. Bone Palace Ballet is all him. Dude is savage.
@@robbaholic Thomas didn’t join until their album ‘Devil’ Bone Palace Ballet was all still Jason Hale

Michelle Sanchez ive been singing the wrong lyrics for over a decade now -_____-
Jordan M lmfaoooooo
The only place I could find the lyrics I remember listening to this at 17 now almost 32. Thanks girl
Thank you!
It takes time and effort to type out the lyrics, and this was much needed cause of the beginning part is a bit hard to understand
Thank you!
It's actually "To a cherub" Which is a reference to a winged angel that shoots people with arrows to get them to fall in love with each other. Later he says "Together we will float like angels" just like cherubs are angels that float ;)
this song is so awesome. personally i like his voice. it sounds unique and makes it that much more awesome.
The first 35 seconds are the best part of the song, in my opinion.
Trae Parsley One of the more underrated riffs for sure
The breakdown is g! "If your stomach feels weak then my work here is done"
This was the first band I ever called my "Favorite" band.
It doesn't matter who you are the opening of this track demands your attention. That drum beat this song would be huge released today.
1:47 that brief moment of silence is all it takes to wake catharsis
When they played this song at taste of chaos in Corpus Christi it was so incredible!!!!!!!!! I was only 17 years old I'm 30 now!!! This song goes as hard as it did the first time I ever heard it!!!!! 🤍🖤
I so miss Chiodos!!!!
Holy effing shite.
Dude, this song gives me chills.
I saw them live and damn, i felt like
I died and reborn. Craig is an amazing
vocalist.
I used to jam to this in high-school! Good times!
I want to thank the random guy I friended on Myspace and introduced me to Chiodos.
I still listen to chiodos from time to time and everytime i think damn this band was so talented
I'm gonna love this song FOREVER
I really miss when shows were like this. ❤️
I remember listening to this when I was in middle school around the age of 12 and im 25 now. I still know every single word of this song!!!
"And we'll stay like this forever." I took that literally, still bumping at 36. Still know every word.
Craig was great, and his voice was unique in my opinion. I wasn't head over heels for him like a lot of people, but I still think the band won't ever be the same now that he's not in it anymore.
Anyways, this is my favorite song ever.
In Indonesia, there's a band who sounded like them, check Killing Me Inside - The Tormented
5 years later since the first time i've listened this song... so much memories back to me
THE NOSTALGIA WITH THIS BAND. Middle school/high school memories. 😂😂🤟
2023 bring back Chiodos
Heard these guys when I was 15 now im29 and still love them straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great song. Craigs voice is so different. One of a kind and I love it. I also love Chiodos's energy while on stage live. I was in the back at warped tour and I still had an amazing energy vibe. Great job Chiodos. Kiddos.
Hope you’re doing well 13 years later
Long Live Chiodos...Wish I could see em live.. :(
I remember my older brother showed this song to me when I was 10. I'm 17 now and still jamming this shit loud and proud.
*The nostalgia hit me so damn hard*
warped tour 2007
Taste of Chaos 07
WT 07 too! Saw em in maryland then like a week later drove to PA to see at that warped too
BEEN A FAN EVER SINCE!
Portland Oregon man it was a hot one.
I crowd surfed for the first time at vans warped tour virginia beach when I was 16. (I know some true Wildmen who crowd surfed at 10 or 11 blah blah) but this song came up in conversation at work today and I got such a blast of nostalgia. Feels for real. 2/3 of the people I was there with are gone now. Damn getting old sucks
one of the most underated bands ever...i gotta check em out live
"if your stomach feels weak, then my work here is DOOOOOONNNNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Damn... used to listen to this 10 years ago when I was 12 lol
Forreal
I was 8 when i first heard this. Good fuckin times man
Why can't I explain how much this song slaps
I remember going to LV Hard Rock to see LP and they opened. Coheed followed and holy sh!t, I wished Chiodos kept playing until LP got on stage. Such an amazing live performance.
lol its like 8 years already.. still lovin this dope.
good songs never get old. Just look at Nick Drake for an example. Dude died feeling like a failure and didn't get famous until 25 years after his death.
Seen these guys 3x in 05-06 and all 3x they played the same set. I wd pay to watch them play the same set again.
Gah takes me back to warped tour in Dallas over 12 years ago… insane.
Raise your hand if you were here!🤩🤤
10 years ago...holy fuck where does the time go..
My ex introduced me to this band, the only good thing he ever did:) love this song3
This is the best song ever created.
31 and still bumping. Take me back...
The guitar in this song is probably in my top 10 all time, Jason's insane. Easily my favorite Chiodos song STILL. I just reviewed their new album "Devil" on my channel, check it out and let me know what you thought of the record!
On god
Chiodos has some badass guitar work. My personal favorite would be Lexington :)
This makes me want to be in a band.... again
