Just had the side of my neck done , was in for a hour and half , the last half hour was where The pain hit a 7 for me 😅 still worth every bit of it.

My whole neck is done heavily like yours.
Hurt less than other places, inside of biceps for example.
The neck takes a surprising amount of wear in life, the skin on mine was far less sensitive than I'd imagined, maybe because I sleep on my front with a pillow under my neck, rubs a lot maybe? I dunno.
That said, over my Adam's apple was very uncomfortable. I wouldn't say excruciating, but I definitely knew my artist was there.
The aftermath wasn't great. It hurt to swallow and the bruising was phenomenal.
Definitely start with the sides IMO and if you're having the whole neck done, try to break it up into more than one session. Remember, the neck is constantly flexing as opposed to other parts of the body.
Healing can be problematic, uncomfortable and take longer than usual.
Keep grinding bro.

I have full sleeve , hand and half my armpit tattooed and I want a full neck one but now you said elbow hurts more I’m feeling a lot better now 🤣most painful place for me was armpit and inner bicep
Just got my middle neck done after both sides for me the neck is my weak spot and the sides was the worst the middle was actually the least painful yet still hurt going over my adam apple and ive had my hands and fingers tatted the worst was my fingers and neck if youre sensitive to pain neck is not for you theres no way to ignore it just sit there and take it

Weird...I was the complete opposite. My sides hurt like hell and the throat and Adam’s apple were easy. Most painful I’ve done and I have a full sleeve up into my arm pit and the neck was wayyyyy worse than anything on my arm
Dillon S see! That’s crazy, I guess everyone is different with pain tolerances. My Adam’s apple and elbow were just soooo bad. The sides were nothing for me. I wish I had your pain tolerance for the Adam’s apple then haha!

It depends on the person and skin i guess, for me it was also the Side that was the most painful

I event cant touch my adam apple Lol is definely more sensible for le than sides, my plan is skull with 2 wings (angel and devil) so skull in middle maybe dont touches it at all, will pray when i go but is far away probably a bodysuit first

the pain was real after 3 hours it took around 4 hours. ( 3 sessions and all of them were around 4 hours. colorful asian tiger neck totally covered sides and front ). but for me healing process was more painful... no shaving for 2 weeks, cant sleep well because of the the location of the tattoo, mousturizing for 2 weeks and that wet feeling for 2 weeks dont really wanna remember lol

Got both sides of my neck done ok for the 1st couple of hrs then started to get a bit much but it depends on the tattoo your get mine are black and white so it was the scraping of the black ink over and over in the same place that was the worse I have both hands done which was fine ,
I have tattoos on both arms and back which where not too bad but they where done back in the day when ŷou could get then done anywhere and what I mean by anywhere is someone's house ,in their kitchen living room you get the picture
it's a lot better now I am thinking of a Throat tattoo as my next one , :-) I tend to give more thought to my ink now something that means something Which was not so much the case when I was younger

I say it’s more of a ten for sure that’s the most pain rule spot for me was the neck not the back but the sides for sure but that’s just me some people hate getting there knuckles done but I felt like it didn’t hurt for me

@@omariongotdrip5446 it depends on the demension of the tattoo the style and the colors used if its a complex tattoo with alot of shading and complex lining should be expecting between 800 euro up to 1.600 euro

I sadly haven’t had my shins / feet covered YET, but I can imagine those are quite tender due to the more bone / nerve endings! Definitely can’t wait to get them done though!
@@deadbeatdennis2284 shin was harsh for me but the foot wasn't soooo bad aside from the uncontrollable jumping took my weight and another guy my weight trying to hold my foot still

I have both of my shins completely covered and my ankle on one side. Alot of solid black or color. They were painful but nothing like my ribs. I actually fainted on my ribs. It was a heavy black and white Dracula(Bella) and is over 18 inches tall with 90% of it a black jacket. I had plans on getting all my belly done and stopped after my ribs. Im going to get my throat done on 3/28/23 and im nervous as fk. If it's anything like shins ill be ok. If it's like ribs, life is gonna be rough for 3-4 hours. I heard shins and ribs are a couple of the worse areas and for me there on opposite ends of the pain spectrum. Hand/knuckles-3, shins-5 ribs -9. Does numbing lotion really work? I worried if i give it that much mental space that im buying numb cream i have a problem lol.

Ribs were my first and I thought it was fine! Maybe around a 4 on the pain scale for me. But I think it's interesting to see that it really just depends on the person. At the end of the day, if you want the tattoo, no matter where it is, get it 👍
how would you specifically rate the sides of your neck?
Honestly, (for me at least) on a scale of 1-10, comparing the pain to other spots. I’d say maybe 2 or 3. It wasn’t bad at all, in fact some spots had me laughing and shit cuz it was ticklish LOL
