I remember when I was 17 watching Contador climb in the 2009 Tour de France. It was the first Tour de France I’d ever watched. I remember thinking to myself “The way he climbs is like a work of art.” His smooth rhythm and coordination. The way he glided up the mountains so gracefully. I painfully struggled to imitate his form to the best of my ability on my cheap Walmart bike. I’m finally blessed enough to be in a position to afford these top end Trek bikes. I bought a Speed Concept recently and I plan to buy a Madone or Emonda soon as well. Cycling is such a beautiful sport.
No se porqué, pero cuando lo veo y escucho al Sr. Contador, se me saltan las lagrimas de la emoción. Con él y con F. Cancelara, he pasado los mejores momentos viéndolos correr, c/u en su especialidad. Creo que el resto del pelotón tiene mucho que aprender de estos dos campeones, porque no siempre pudieron ganar, pero ellos pusieron lo que había que poner para estar al frente aunque algunas veces no pudieron, y esto los hizo únicos.

As a hobby cyclist, I own several Trek, I would never buy anything else. However, I hope that this season's "1 or 2" seconds were not lost because of the red bikes 😊

Estoy de acuerdo que hoy se gana por 1 o 2 segundos. Y por eso, el factor peso. Y, por eso, no entiendo como otros, ¡NO! Alberto Contador antes de atacar al final del puerto, teclea y teclea el cuentakilómetros. Que dicho sea de paso lleva una batería capaz de mover 2 imanes por inducción clavados en la suela del zapato, mínimo 100w durante casi 5 kms.....
La Madone es muy linda y llamativa lástima que es muy costosa, aun asi me gustan mucho las trek siempre están innovando en tecnología, la opción comprar una versión más básica o segunda mano
la Trek Madonne es una pasada , pero creo que se va a los 11 Mil Euros .

Ho da poco una Emonda factory segafredo slr 8 disco e devo dire che è una gran bici unica cosa che cambierò soldi permettendo sono le ruote potevano montare qualche cosa di più leggero invece delle comp5 visto il costo del modello , ma si sa trek non regala niente

Fuck Specialized and their over-priced bikes. Great bikes alright, but you get more for you dollar from any other brand that isn't specialized. Besides, Specialized is synonymous with freds.

Wanna the best bike in the world ? Canyon ultimate slx or aeroad . Half the price and same or better performance .
You've obviously haven't ridden a top of the range Madone or Emonda. Canyons often break and that kinda sucks as you don't have dealer support, plus the prices aren't quite as cheap as they once were.
ARGreen93 so .... you are saying canyon sucks just because dont have locar dealer or suport ? that made the bike bad ? you are talking about bikes or about support ? trek specialized bmc and all the supost "great" marks are rubish . frames at 4000€ ? wtf ? and you have what ? less 10 grams than the old model and 4% mor stiffness ? canyon dont need suport or local dealers to be better ou sell more than all that brands . you have more for less and thats a point .
he's saying Canyon often breaks, that's what made the bike bad. Lack of dealer support is just to further why it sucks even more when a canyon breaks (lack of dealer support means you're fucked).
That was just me clarifying for ARGreen93 since you misinterpreted his point.
As far as y our comment about 4% more stiffness, well shit, if I can get 4% more performance, I'll surely take it. a 4% increase at 300watts is ~10-12watts saving. Go ahead and tell me that's not significant.
Jay Kan every bikes have problems . i have friends who have a lot of problems with tarmacs that cost more that 10000 euros and venges call to the dealers again with structural problems . you sell more bikes than the others off corse you will have more problems than the others 1% off 100 is 1 . but 1% of 1000 is 10 if canyon sell MUTCH more than the others than think for yourself . show me something that prove all that TOP of line shit marks are better then canyon . if you take 10m in google you will se thats not true .
