What is the software used to display rankings based on stages? Nice video thanks!
@@YourKingdom-bo7jw Thank you! It's Adobe Premiere.
The most electric attacker ever. What he did to Armstrong was legendary.
The scene where he attacks in The Armstrong Lie. Goosebumps!
@@TrueSportsLore Armstrong is the second best cyclist ever, Contador is not even top 10. If you think Contador didn't dope you are delusional.
@@geraldleuven169 how many tours has armstrong? 0 And Alberto? 2 and 3 vueltas and a couple of giros. So Alberto was a better rider at the end
@@dmb77 Armstrong won the Tour 7 times in a row.
@@dmb77 'Cycling Gangster' hahaha ok bro. Look, everyone used during and before the Armstrong era. By your logic they should scrap every Tour winner.
This super Gifted and Talented Athlete could have achived so much more than any other cyclist in History.
Contador was an Unstoppable Machine,a Force of Nature like no other before or after.
In my 59 years following professional cycling, Alberto Contador stands as the Greatest Cyclist i had the pleasure of seing race in the Greatest Professional Cycling Competitions.
I my opinion Alberto Contador is the Greatest Cyclist in the Sport History.
PS: It's Beyond me how the name of Lance Armstrong is still mentioned has One of the Greatest, when his name should have been Banned, Erased from the Cycling channels and History.
The Greatest Cheater in cycling History has no place in a channel were we are talking abaut Real Cycling Heroes like Alberto Contador.
Looking forward to part 2. I did notice a mistake were you said Andy Schleck won the stage but the video showed Frank's name.
Sorry for that mistake! Part two will come out after the Giro d'Italia. We're excited as well
The 9-time winner of all Grand Tours! They accused him of doping for taking the same substance that Jamaica sprinters including Usain Bolt took in Beijing 2008. They suspended him for a year, and stripped him from two Tour 2010, and Giro 2011. Yet Usain and his team mates get away with the case.
Really good job young gentleman you have done and so congratulation in addition to say take my greetings from South Korea by Boston man
My favorite attacker in the mountain and only contador feared by froomy.
Contador vs Froome in the Dauphine is one of our favourite memories.
He was either loved or hated during the 2009 TDF
Can you do a video of andy schleck please?
Yes absolutely!
Armstrong instead of saying, Im not on Par with Contador,, said a general, Im not on par with what was required.
When Armstrong is all butt hurt or hates someone, he won't say their name
Agreed Armstrong should have taking it on the chin and giving Contador credit/respect
Was the other way around rassumussen said he was in mexico when was actually in italy
Yo Contador like any other contender for the yellow jersey was doing all the things. All the drugs. Not a single clean year.
But whatever, because everyone who was good was doing it, i don't let it ruin the sport for me. Still a great sport. Just dirty as heck.
Don't believe any of the winners. Including Pogacar. There's just no way i'll believe a winner of the major tours are clean. No chance.
We meet again Jesper 😂
Conquistador
Contadir was diagnosed as a horse. This is why he needed to take horse medicine.
Weren't so many "battles" with Froome in the TdF, he got smashed every time by froomey
Nah just 2-3 times, and when Contador past his prime. Froome got smashed in Vuelta 2012 and 2014 by an old Contador tho
You can’t even believe all the dopping is from the top guys.
Contador is a masterful liar, and Schleck getting awarded the 2010 TdF was the most beautiful karma
It would be more interesting to hear the top riders discussing the merits of their various ‘supplements’ regimes. The rest is just sporting fraud. Or just fraud.
I never understood how Contador got to keep 2 out of his 3 tours even though he got caught doping on multiple occasions, yet Lance gave up all 7 and was banned for life. Same with Ulrich who got to keep his malliot jaune even though he's and admitted cheater. They are all cheaters and should not be looked up to or have any of their accomplishments how do you strip all from one and not the other.
meaningless footnotes in history today
Doping
he a cheater tho
Time trial in Tour de Pologne in 2003 was an uphil TT. So you can say his first victory was actually a mountain stage.
Fair!
Para mim Contador foi o melhor pistoleiro cinclyng
The rider that got me into cycling, will forever be my favorite gc/climber
I had a love/hate relationship with him. I grew a massive Andy Schleck fan but then when he joined Bjarne Riis' Team I found a liking to him. One of a kind!
Not dropping the yellow jersey in the case of a mechanical has always been nonsense for me. Who's in the yellow jersey at a given time in the race is dependent on the nature of the stages that have preceded it. You either afford the same respect to the whole of the peloton or not at all. There have been plenty of occasions where GC contenders have had bad luck which hasn't been recognised due to their positioning in the early stages. How often do grand tours start off in the mountains with summit finishes? The "unwritten rule" is usually heavily weighted in favour of time trial specialists or people who are strong in the crosswinds / punchy stages. A lot of riders never realistically have the opportunity to take the leaders jersey until the 2nd / 3rd week of racing if they're more of a "pure climber".
Can't think of anyone who could ride out of the saddle as long as Contador. He once said in an interview his arms were often hurting more than his legs.
Haha makes sense. Him and Horner could have a battle to see who could ride the longest without a saddle...
@@TrueSportsLore And Richie Porte!
Dont forget they called him Pantani. The best mountain rider ever!
Amazing what a little "mountain dew" can do.
I love that he defied Bruneel and Armstrong.
Rasmussen claimed to have been in Mexico but was spotted in Italy by former rider Cassani.
He has the best acceleration of all time and when he dance.. i'm sure no one can stay with his powerful motor in the climbs.
pogacar enters the chat
I’m sure you’ve not seen his accelerations changes of speed all the time through out any climb
You mixed up two countries:
Rasmussen said he was in Mexico but actually he was in Italy (and spotted by Cassani).
Beating Armstrong at this stage in his career is like beating Jordan when he played for the Wizards.
doping, doping, doping, doping, doping. this is their legacy. call them all Mr. Doper
Drug cheat. Not to be celebrated.
The best cycler of all time.
Man this is bringing back some core memories.
This is why I never liked him.
Paris - Nice is not a warm up race for Tour de France, it's prep for the spring classics. Dauphine on the other hand is. Watch out, Belgians watch this and do this: 🤦
And the rider that actually started when he ride, winning only his option.
A piece of meat changed his life!😅🤣😉
Stay tuned for part 2 :)
Is this a part1 or something? You've literally told 50% of the story here.
Hey, yes this is part 1. Part 2 to come
Are you doing another video about his years after 2010? And his doping… ?
Yes that'll be part 2. It'll come in the following months.
Could you do a Roglic vid called like : the unbelievably story off Roglic
Script is currently being written for that video! Make sure you've subscribed to see it
@@TrueSportsLore yay
Attacking Schleck when he dropped the chain, and claiming he didn't see him drop the chain when he was behind him trying to catch his wheel and clearly saw him drop the chain was one of the most unsportsmanlike things in the history of the Tour. Condator will always be remembered for his poor sportsman ship over his accomplishments.
Glad he got stripped of that win and Schleck got his win.
Legend he his not, doper yes.
Andy Slack😂
ONLY 3 minutes behind!? What drugs are you taking? 3 minutes is massive.
The golden age of doping.
Contador is a liar.. he attacked and knew it was wrong
Worth mentioning mate that his victory time trial was indeed an uphill time trial 😎
They couldn't do the same as Sky did with Froome. Contador was in somebody's way.
Im a weird dude...I hated Lance(rare for an American back then) for cheating but felt bad that Rathsmusen wasn't really caught it was just because of where he was when he was there. But he was probably cheating.
Rasmussen did cheat, he admitted it himself in 2013.
Weenie
damn .. where is part 2 ... i was just getting in to it xD
Who has a longer nose Pinocchio or Contador?
Rasmussen said he was in Mexico but was in Italy, not the other way around.
Our mistake!
Sad that everyone was doping
Had a better "Doctor" than most...
Cuntadoor?
Despite the dodgy thumbnail… not bad
However the spectre of doping hangs over him
great video!
Thank you James!
He’s a major doper!
Amazing rider, but as doped as Rasmussen, but gets glorified while Rasmussen is shamed, not fair
It's a problem with the wider sport. Some get loved and some get hated. Lack of consistency unfortunately
Rasmussen was nothing after 2007. Contador won grand tours after grand tours
@@AceStrikerxXx It was not a comparison between their achievements, but a statement that some riders even though they raced for teams and sports directors known for doping, are still glorified. Rasmussen won in 2007, and was by a margin a better rider that year.
contador were much younger, and went on to win a lot of gt. that’s a different story.
when Rasmussen came back, from quarantine, he was over his prime, and shamed in the sport for life.
@@TrueSportsLore On every day they work as a team, but in case of doping scandal cyclists are abandoned by its team as if they are individuals. It's huge hypocrisy. As long as there won't be a ban to the whole team (for 5-10 years) nothing will change.
Treatment after PED-allegations is generally related to personality. Jerks and oddballs get slaughtered. Loveable mother in law favorites come away unscathed and promoted into post race career glory. The same is seen in Medical Doctors, where malpractice lawsuit rates are directly related to bedside manner. Maybe not as it should be, but ultimately a reflection of the emotions driven sentiment of mankind as a whole.
The Kobe Bryant of Cycling
Soo you show an article that shows he said he was in Mexico but infact he was in Italy, but you claim the opposite in the video? What kind of channel is this?
Glorification of dopers
Being a Contador fan growing up, it's always a treat to see Armstrong's downfall. Contador is one of the best, if not the best cyclists to ever ride. Armstrong is a cheat. He's not in the conversation.
Are you gonna do a video of Roglic or Alaphilippe? 👀
Doping doper
Cool story bro. Pretty much he went from getting caught with the juice to getting tons of sponsors who know how to pass the juice tests with better juice lol shut the front door. They're all on the juice
