Here's one for the Benidorm trailblazers. Who remembers when behind the Hotel Venus was waste ground, there was a small wooden shack which might have been called Bobbys Bar ( I think.) Drinks were cheap as you could get and superb to sit and chill. 1977 i frequented there for a few quaffs.
Up near the rio park where they've built the conference centre I remember that used to be a run down football pitch. Hubby used to take his boots every year to get a wee game on it with hotel guests

Calle Gerona for plenty of places to eat. Few lovely old tapas bars close to the beach in the old town too.
