2 yrs have already passed..i wonder what other brands/model of sling bags would be considered as an alternative to the xpod/xpod2? Same techwear-esque look, w/ neoprene-like material at the back, number of pockets for easy organization, & overall functionality
Code of Bell's X-Pod is an overbuilt sling (we mean that as a compliment) packed to the gills with features, and is perfect for someone really looking to customize their carry. But, it can be a bit intimidating for many wearers due to all of these features. We joked about needing an instruction manual to operate the X-Pod upon opening it, but once you work through all of the bag's features, you have a much better appreciation of why it's designed this way. The Aer City Sling 2 is slightly more compact, and much more minimalist in both form and function. This sling will do all of the thinking for you, and look good while doing it - put your EDC gear in and go. COB feels a bit more tactical/technical, as Aer feels a bit more urban/minimalist. Both bags are excellent choices, and you can't go wrong with either. It just comes down to your particular daily use and style. Amazing video, beautifully shot and explained. One question, would you be able to test if the bigger expandable pocket fits a regular sized book (either soft or hardcover). That would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much and thank you for great videos!
Hi, looking to getting one of these but I'm wondering: - if the x-pac pouch is fully extended to the 7L capacity, can you still connect the side compression straps as well as the straps that goes across the pouch? (Basically I'm wondering if it can become a mini messenger bag with the back which normally makes contact with your body, now facing upwards to the sky. The compression strap going across should help keep some weight off the zipper as the zipper now becomes the bottom of the bag supporting all items in the pouch)
I don't about anyone else, but making a video about a black bag on a grey body on a black background doesn't say buy me to me. Make another video that actually shows me all that you have to say and I will consider making a purchase.

Amazing video, do you prefer this or the aer city sling 2!?

Great video, good coverage of the xpod. I like the water bottle and the card holder. Is it possible I can get links to both?
Water bottle is the Kinto Travel Tumbler - amzn.to/3olplFU
The wallet is the Pioneer Molecule Cardholder - bit.ly/molecule05

What's the size of that water bottle? Thanks. Great video btw! 👊
Nice review! Do you know how long is the strap fully extended? I like to wear it very loose. Thanks?
