I was once seated next to the emergency exit door on a flight and the flight attendant gave me and the other two passengers firm instructions to not let anyone near it and basically defend it with our lives. I'm barely 5 ft. tall and the other 2 passengers were more like me in stature and we were looking at each other like 👀. Needless to say, I was anxious the whole time.

Flying is much safer than travelling by road. I’ve travelled on aircraft all my life and never seen an issue once, not even a conflict, and I’ve probably flown about 40 times.

A few years back I had a panic attack. Let me tell you how my mind had me acting. I couldn’t understand what was happening I just remember feeling the scariest feeling of doom and fear. I tried jumping out of the car my friend was driving. Absolutely terrifying feeling and yes as an onlooker I’m sure my friend thought I was insane. I felt insane at that moment.

Impossible to do. The internal air pressure exceeds the outside air pressure and you cannot open the door against several tons of air pressure inside keeping it closed.

Impossible to do. The internal air pressure exceeds the outside air pressure and you cannot open the door against several tons of air pressure inside keeping it closed.
The amount of air pressure on those doors is insane! It's funny people believe the stuff in Mission Impossible where they just open a door and jump out like it's their front door. 😂
