I have super oily skin and I have the Loreal powder foundation. When I first tried it, I didnt use setting powder. So, it ended up looking very cakey and it transferred when I swiped my finger accross my face. I use it with a translucent setting powder on top and it works much better! It stays in place and it looks flawless. The only downside is that I have to touch up with setting powder sometimes because Im very oily (which is unstoppable).

Oh my goodness, I don't know why but that make up with that purple lipstick was a bomb combo...I mean I'm also into natural and nude lips but you looked bomb with that purple lipstick and it went well with your overall makeup as well...just wow👏 .
I guess I fell down the UA-cam rabbit hole, as I have the primer, CC cream, mascara and the brow pen!! I actually like all of them, especially the Marshmellow primer!!
My favorite powder foundation is the makeup forever velvet skin. Love it on top of foundation..by itself and even to set my undereye concealer

I've found with that mascara, it gets better as you use it. The first couple times it didn't separate my lashes like I wanted, but I think it was just too new. As I've continued using it, it got better!

I tried the infallible powder foundation recently and the Jcat Aquasurance powder is still better; more creamy, more opaque, less dry looking. They took the Jcat off my nearby drugstore recently 😔, now I can only buy online. At least I tried most of the colors because I bought at least half of the range for shading/highliting etc.

I'm super dry and I use the L'oreal Age Perfect Powder Fountain to set my tinted sunscreen and I love it. Highly recommend if you haven't tried.

Dr Bronners is amazing for cleaning brushes and sponges!! Goat milk soap works really well also-I always try to get in scented. It also roamed out sooooo easily!

My outtakes was spending 20 min trying to take it off because it was water proof and getting some in my eye 😂 it was painful!

I was actually able to find the Maybelline Sky High mascara on Ulta online. As far as I can see as of right now it’s available in regular and waterproof. 😁 Love the video 💕

I think that powder is perfect for oily skin - it needs to be applied right on skin without primer or moisturizer. For drier skin it's best to apply with wet sponge. I had powder like that from a no name brand. It used to be a life saver for me when I was younger and only had like 5 minutes to do makeup in the morning :) :) :)

Lol try livin in 🇨🇦. I looked sooo many times for that Maybelline mascara, finally I found 1 that sold it, all sold out I went back a few days later they had some I bought two and went back the next day and bought two more.
I want to try that nyx primer just for the smell but my Ulta is always sold out And I want to try the L’Oréal powder too I tried the elf cc cream loved it and ty sky high mascara lol

I got the CC cream recently after all the hype on Tik Tok. I have combination skin and it looks so patchy under my eyes and on the side of my nose. Any tips on how to make it not do that?! It looked great on you!

The NYX primer has only just arrived in U.K., the brow products haven’t yet. I do want to try the brow pen when we eventually get it here. I usually get my NYX stuff from pretty little thing as I have VIP next day delivery free with them. It just isn’t anywhere at the moment even listed as out of stock. It’s mainly the front of the brow I want it for and a little on the tail. My normal micro pencil is fine for everything else and I’m happy with my brow gel (I don’t have enough yet for the brow freeze, microblading has encouraged regrowth but not that much).
I’m loving the LED lights in the background, totally different ambience. X

Have you tried the other one, I think it’s rimmel that bought out the brow pens. Also Essence have them too I believe. It’s so annoying that the UK is always the last to get these things and shipping for anything from the US is stupidly expensive then there is the customs charge too 😩
@@Beauty-mad I haven’t used Rimmel for years, since Heather shimmer in the 1990’s. I’ve tried to keep the majority of my make up and skin care cruelty free, which actually isn’t that easy in the U.K. I’m also shielded, haven’t been out since March 13th last year and now shielded till 31st March at least. Essence I’m struggling to find and really I want to look at stuff first. The only makeup that isn’t cruelty free now is the very few high end luxury designer stuff I have like YSL. I’m also very sensitive to some ingredients, either cause rashes or breakouts. You can import Tarte from USA without Customs fees (they have a section that uses a specific company for U.K. purchases where fedex express includes customs fees along with a slightly higher price per item), if you spend under £40 it’s £6 delivery, over £40 is free delivery. I order a load from Tarte as there skincare is fantastic for my skin and the make up doesn’t cause any reactions. I’ve been ordering for over 2 years now and I haven’t had any issues. ABH is the same. Auric is expensive to deliver though, it’s $27 delivery for the glow lust. Arctic Fox hair dye is easy to order from as well, prices all inclusive and quite reasonable delivery fees.

Theyre also available on QVC and have some fantastic package deals on there and the 30 day returns is amazing! I wont buy Auric, i looked at the shipping and immediately quit the page! I tend to buy from beautylish too (shipping and tax added before checkout and no further fees) I buy other high end from places like Cult, Space NK, Beautybay, Look fantastic etc.

The best way to apply most powder foundations is with a fluffier brush and use swirling motions to buff it into the skin.
I think the sponge and brush picked up too much product and then you applied it using swiping motions. This is why it gathered at your hairline.
I would suggest trying it again with a fluffier brush and buffing it in in swirling motions. Start of with a little bit of product and build it up.🙂
Just settling in to enjoy some time with Patty. I know it's going to be a fun time when she pulls out the purple lipstick. As for the NYX brow gel, my eyebrows are really stiff and sturdy. I tried the Patrick Ta brow wax that everyone loves. With that product my eyebrows just laughed and continued to stick straight out from my face, but covered with lots of brow gel. Not attractive. Patty, keep the purple lipstick for Halloween. I don't know why you don't have more followers. Even though we are 'just' talking about makeup, I love your commentary. And during these times when we need to keep to ourselves, I find your videos to be good company.

My local cvs had just one lonely L’Oréal powder foundation on the display.. and it was my shade (vanilla too):: I couldn’t pass it up, and only paid $3 for it bc I had a bunch of cvs bucks and coupons! Lol! It’s fine.. but nothing that blew my mind out anything.: I still enjoy my Jcat aquasurance powder foundation and it’s only $7! Ps I think it works best with a hydrating setting spray

Those two step lipsticks have been around in every other drugstore brand for so so many years. It was actually the first liquid lipstick. L’Oréal, maybelline, cover girl etc, and I’m pretty sure they all still carry it. It’s so bizarre which stuff randomly becomes popular all of a sudden.

I live in Japan and yeah, we have all these brands: Maybelline, L’Oréal and Revlon but for some reason some products are not the same or they just don’t come. I guess they make changes to adjust to the Japanese market which is so boring and limited to me (I’m not Japanese), because my reference is the western beauty tutorials and sometimes there are good products in those brands. Thank Goodness Sephora ships to Japan and I can order my products (not Charlotte Tilbury 😭 though).

I didn’t know Sephora ships to Japan! It’s rare for Japanese to follow too many western trends, definitely more on the Kbeauty trends. But the UA-camr Fukuse Yuuri (Maririn) does great videos in western style for what she can get in Japan, all videos in Japanese though:)

Hi what shade did you use for the Loreal Powder? that powder is for oily skin I think, and if you are combination use primer before and dewy setting spray after.

The powder foundation works better if u Pat n pish in to the skin not swipe . specially not with that sponge it comes with. N if use with brush use a dense brush n pat n push. Try it again that way . it wont show so much texture .

That sticky primer is definitely not meant to work with powder foundation
I've been using sonia kashuk brushes for over 10 years and they have held up well . They're some of my staples in my everyday routine.
I used to get one of those limited edition sets every year for Christmas and they’ve all held up super well. And that’s even with me being a shitty brush owner and not taking care of them like I should.
Same! I've had a few that I've been using for probably 10 years now too and they're still in perfect shape.

@@passport3763 I apply it topically. It has been just couple of weeks and I couldn't believe, everybody should know about this!! I wont recommend any product, just use any retinol ( be careful with the strength of it) on your strech marks daily. 👍

I would kill for your brows! They’re so fluffy!! I love the nyx brow pen. I bought dark brown tho, and wish I would’ve gotten black. An the nyx lip color, I can’t find it anywhere. I found like a blue color, but all the wearable shades were sold out! An I wanna grab that Pur concealer! It looked so nice under your eyes! Pur is underrated in my opinion! I love their skin perfecting veil & the skin perfecting balancing act powder, their bronzers, their eyeshadows, foundation. I could go on and on. Lol. But you look beautiful! I liked this kind of video!

I love the Sky High mascara BUT it’s a hassle to remove. I’ve used specific eye makeup remover, 2 different makeup wipes and the Farmacy Balm and haven’t found anything that makes it “easy” to remove. These are all makeup removers I’ve been using for a long time with no issues so it’s a bummer

I love love love the powder foundation but the nyx primer literally did nothing for my skin that I could see. The nyx lipstick was not available anywhere except in the blue color. I bought the maybelline mascara but I accidentally bought waterproof too and I haven’t tried it yet. My sister loves the elf cc cream but the undertones look too yellow for me. Plus I want to use up some of my complexion products before I buy any more. I found the brow glue and I really like it.
Those eyebrows are no joke!
