What a gorgeous resort - from the design of the buildings to the beautiful, lush gardens and the stunning beach setting. Surely one my favourite resorts that you have shared on this channel! I even love the fact that it was raining. In fact, I try to travel to places during their rainy seasons. I'm actually not a sun fan (grew up in Australia and had enough, lol) so I crave that tropical rain, verdant greenery and warmth of Southeast Asian destinations. Thank you for presenting this wonderful video for our enjoyment and a little escapism (the music was perfect too).
Great review. Very comprehensive and shows the resort in detail. The only thing I would say is spend more time on the main pools because that is the most important feature many people are looking for.
Thank you for the comments. I do agree and the more recent reviews do feature the public areas more. On this specific occasion it rained 80% of my time there, so it was a nice challenge to film :)
Thought your review and score was fair and resort looked amazing - perhaps that was because not many guests were there at the time of the review. Our family stayed at the Anam prior to Covid and from the very start there were problems - no pickup as arranged at airport and checkin was awful as we were left sitting at reception for a long time before anyone attended to us. Other problems as well during our stay. However, we made sure those issues didn't spoil our family get together holiday.
I think the issues I had while there were (in retrospect) all related to adjusting to a new normal in operations. Others just happened to do it quicker. This was actually the very first ever hotel I visited specifically for this channel so I look forward to giving it another chance next year. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
