Hi man, new sub! When i went to nha trang, on the way i saw cam ranh, but looked like only resorts or big constructions, it seemed a bit isolated from party and life, thats why as a single guy i preferred nha trang
Thank you! I understand, the Long Beach area has mostly resorts (there are some airbnbs at the northern end), but Nha Trang has more variety when it comes to accommodation (and nightlife), that's for sure. Still, it is not far from Nha Trang, Cam Ranh could be a great day trip from there, too! Especially the Cam Lap area, it is more beautiful than anything around Nha Trang in my opinion! :)
One of best beaches in Vietnam and the world. Small hotel nearby is not expensive like resorts. Far more enjoyable and natural than Nha Trang. Thank you your video
@@minhha6867 I love traveling and I love looking for places I can explore. Vietnam is full of places that not many people know about, and most of them are super beautiful, too! Vietnam is an amazing country!
Last time I was in Cam Ranh Bay was with the US Army...and I never saw the beach. Much has changed and Im curious as to whether the old base still exists.
Omg I went to that hotel it's stunning!!! In camranh and ofc camranh is way better it has beaches and it's really shallow even me going on 2m I could still reach the ground
@@mufarochikandwa2119I'm sorry but I don't remember, it was like 4 years ago. But that place is stunning! I saw a kid pooping in the pool at that place before though😅
Hi. Thanks for the video. As I've noticed in the end you were filming on the grounds of Radisson Blue resort. Does it mean that the beginning of the video you also filmed there? Nice resort and I just wanted to know which one it was :)
@@GipsyDean Yes, Cam Ranh is mostly resorts. This video is quite old, I was lucky to visit between 2 covid lockdowns, when even resorts were pretty cheap. (I stayed at 2 different resorts, one is called Cam Ranh Riviera and the other one is Radisson, but prices have changed since then.Still, the coastline around Cam Ranh is very pretty, it’s worth and easy to go there even from Nha Trang.
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed this video! That beach is called Binh Tien beach (you can find it on the map if you search for Bãi biển Bình Tiên), just south of Cam Ranh. It has an easy access, although, there was a construction going on when I visited, there might be a resort behind it now or in the near future (but the beach is long, it should be a public beach still).
Do you mean at the Long beach? It has a lot of space and it is a prime location because of the airport (and it is a nice beach, too), so development in a place like this is inevitable.
Looks lovely but i wouldnt go there because its a resort, they all look the same in any country Personably i want the more raw places like Nha Trang that are lively and bustling - resorts just look so dull
I understand, I didn't really go because of the resort, either; but the area is really nice, there are beautiful beaches around and they can be accessed from Nha Trang easily, too. Nha Trang is not far, it could be a great base to explore the area!
There are more resorts around Cam Ranh, that's true, but there are some cheaper airbnbs at the northern end of Long Beach, also in the city (but I wouldn't stay there) and also in the Cam Lap area, so it doesn't have to be very expensive.
Hi! Cam Ranh beach is more like a string of resorts (not all of them are very expensive). The road is far from the beach, so it has a different vibe and fewer places than Nha Trang.
Hi, well, prices often change in bigger accommodations due to seasons for example (plus I was there during covid restrictions - Vietnam wasn`t opened yet, prices were generally lower than usual), but you can browse on some hotel booking sites, you can find many places. Also, I mentioned in the Cam Ranh videos that Nha Trang can also be a good base to explore the area - it`s a short drive from Cam Ranh city itself. (There are more options in Nha Trang, Cam Ranh has more upscale resorts.)
Hey Boris nice video, I’m yet to check out Cam Ranh. I’m making food videos based in Vietnam, you seem like a cool guy if you ever want to do a collaboration let me know!
Sure, that would be awesome! I have some plans for the future, I don't have anything booked yet (I'm based in Haiphong, a great city to eat by the way), it would be great to meet and collaborate! I'll contact you!
Vietnam is not island country because its a 40.island only.. If u want to see beautiful. Beaches go. To. Malaysia philippines Indonesia and Thailand they are all. Archipelego except vietnam
Vietnam's coastline is very long and there are some great beaches, too! I showed some clips in this video as well, but my next video will be a vlog about the Cam Lap area, which has empty white sandy beaches and clear waters, those beaches could be in Thailand or Malaysia, too. There aren't many islands in Vietnam, that's true, but some beaches are still very nice!
I was in basic training here in 1972. It was the most beautiful place, with miles of white sand.
Awesome video man. Definitely adding this to my vacation plan ideas!
huge fun for this mountain ⛰🏜🏖🏝

There is a military facility in the area that is off-limits to foreigners, so that's probably it, but I'm not sure.
Rode by this morning. Vietnamese navy base. Air port is both commercial and military. Saw a few med sized cargo planes. Nothing sexy.

Cam Ranh is more expensive that is why people go to Nha Trang, where did you stay and how much did you pay?

Not sure, but Cam Ranh has a more "private" feel to it, as it has mostly resorts along the beach, so the atmosohere is totally different.
