Centaflex PVC hurricane hinge! In part 28 of the cabin build series I install and review the centaflex hinge on my trailer hatch. This hinge is a great option if you don't like the style of the standard aluminum hurricane hinge.

I watch it from the roku so theres no seeing or making comments from there, and thank god for that, because in your earlier video you just kind of glossed over the top hinge mechanism. I was like this is one of my biggest question for this and a popup camper reno im getting ready to start, and it got less attention than the how to attach the safety chains😢. I'm really glad you revisited this and ive never seen this kind of hing. Every piano hinge ive seen eventually has problems. Awesome! I've had so many questions, so i was wondering if you're gonna do a FAQ video, because i can only imagine how many you're getting.

I’ve been following your build and this thing is badass . I do want to follow in your foot steps soon with my own build. Do you or have you put the trailer on a scale yet at this point in the build? Or have an idea of where your weight might be when completed? I’m limited to 3500lb with my bronco so that’s why I’m asking . Thanks

The trailer weighs about 1600 pounds. When I did the registration, the scale was just over 1400.
