Maggie & Negan [The Walking Dead] || Ivy

On my last Multicouples video, I used Taylor Swift's song "Willow" for dark couples, and it surprised a few people, and lol, I didn't expect it to surprise people, actually, This song was pretty dark for me, but I figured, hey, why not use another sweet Taylor song for a dark couple? SO HERE WE GO AGAIN XD

Otherwise, I loved the Neggie ship more and more, and I cannot wait for Dead City's season 2. I had the idea for this video a bit randomly, mainly because of the lyrics "so yeah, it's a war, it's the goddamn fight of my life, and you started it" because it made me strongly think of this long internal war that took place between Negan and Maggie, which still exists, in many ways, and it was Negan who started it.
As it is a song that was written for a very different theme, I will explain my interpretation of the lyrics for them:
"I'd meet your where the spirits meet the bones, in a faith-forgotten land" the fact that they met during an act of extreme violence, in a forest in the middle of the night, forever haunted by the deaths of Abraham and Glenn.
"I wish to know the fatal flaw who makes you long to be magnificently cursed" is for me Maggie who is a little more intrigued, in Dead City, about how and why Negan was what he was.
“My pain fits in the palm of your freezing hand” Maggie’s “pain” literally coming from the hand of Negan, who held the bat that killed Glenn.
"Taking mine, but it's been promised to another" here I change the interpretation of the lyrics a lot, I mean by that she will always feel bonded to Glenn, when you look at it, Maggie never had a relationship after his death, she remained faithful to him even in death, she remained "promised" to him, even when she takes someone else's hand.
"Your ivy grows, and now I'm covered in you" with the scene where she kills the Reapers means here for me that this is the moment where she becomes like him, where she follows his advice, and that she kills all these cold-blooded men, like him once had killed Abraham and Glenn.
P.S : I know that the lyrics said "it's a fire" and not "it's a fight" but I learned it quite late and spend months to heard the word "fight" so I play the dumbass there and pretend it's still this word because it fits Negan and Maggie better lol.
