I'm 47 & not too much excites me musically anymore, until I ran across this! Man oh man! They were the shit! Great band and great albums! Jake you have to come out of seclusion. Too much raw talent to keep from your loyal & devoted fans! Great video's.
Tim Hodges hope you caught RDC this last outing. I saw their Buford, GA show close to a month ago and I still haven't come down yet. Jake even put a pick right in to my hand!!! \m/
aaawwwhhhh.... such memories! Thanks for posting this! My band opened up for Badlands on a few shows back in April of 92. I have a beautifully filmed concert from Rock Candy, in Seattle and another filmed at the Roseland Theatre, in Portland. The video Camera somehow got turned on while Badlands was sound checking and they were playing some tunes they were working on, for the Album after "Voodoo Highway"... Then they went into all out JAM... for at least 15-20 minutes. it was incredible! Eric Singer was no longer the drummer though, which bummed me out a little, being a drummer! But the new guy at the time, Jeff Martin, was pretty damn good. He was the singer of Racer X.... anyway, some of the best memories I will always have!!!!
I remember going totally apeshit over BADLANDS when I first their debut album. Although the whole album kicked my ass, this track in particular did it for me. Totally amazing. These guys would have OWNED the 70's with albums like the 3 they put out: BADLANDS, VOODOO HIGHWAY & DUSK.
How about being involved in this band playing with the great phenomenal guitarist Jake E Lee? Overall each 1 of these guys was incredible. Saw them on the 2nd tour ,2nd album, so great, very loud Marshall' sound and of course. Just great.
jake e. lee has been renovating old cars. he has stayed out of the limelight since a fine pink mist and wicked alliance. he is starting to do little recordings here and there. i miss him and hope he comes back in full swing!
HEARD BADLANDS(RAYNJAKE)FOR THE FIRST TIME LIVE AT CENTRE STAGE IN DOWNTOWN ATLANTA ...SMALL JOINT SAW SATRIANI THERE ALSO....RAY BLEW US AWAY ....I MEAN THIS BAND WAS THE NEXT VAN HALEN MEETS BLACK SABBATH...............................RAY WAS MUSIC TO OUR EARS!JAKE ALSO!!!
I think that badlands should make a reunion, new record and tour, I know Rays dead but, may be someone like John Corabi, can do the job, its going to be different, but I am sure the combination Jake-John must sound incredible!!!! thanks for add this video
Not a reunion unless you have the original members ,a reunion is not having 3 and someone filling in for the other. Plus the man on guitar, whom runs things would never do it ,that's why he plays a couple of songs live in his current group to dedicate those songs to the passing of the lead singer - Ray Gillen.
@matabaldia ..sorry..a bit to the point there...John Corabi is not in this class of vocalist..my opinion..I like some of his studio stuff but live he is not up to this standard...few are !!

John corabi would be probably closest u would get to r.i.p ray . he's had at least 3 diff singers with cartel ! .
joe jones what?John can't hold a note that sounds half as good as ray.plus he really isn't a good singer.wow

The best band of all time! Is anyone better than Jake? Will anyone ever be as good as Ray was(rip)? We need more Badlands!!!
Search here on YT for Dino Jelusik. He does a Badlands cover that is insane. He’s in Whitensake now….as their keyboard player.
Awesome thanks tony!
@matabaldia You got a point, a very few are in the ray´s standard.

Who does Ray dedicate Winters Call to in this video I cannot quite make the name out? Does anyone know?
what happened to the baby girl?
Anyone know for sure if that's Jade or Ashley, Ray's daughter? She would've been 5 at the time if this video.
It's Jade. Read down further....
How sad for her
