- A funny and well animated short film by the talented team at Simpals! Dji is an unusual death. The Dark Knight has appeared in a different form. No, he is not white and fluffy. Dji is just terribly unlucky. All he has to do is to take the soul of a dying man. But the screenwriters prepared some obstacles for Dji. Will he manage to overcome them? You"ll see.

The animation was very good,I love how they moved and the ending was well served!Might I add,the doctor looks like House ,boy he'd be pissed if he lost a patient
And of course for the finishing touch Death stubbed his toe. Beautiful.

About 12 people actually worked on the video. 4-5 of them are pros with experience, and for others, including me, this was actually our first job. We all work fulltime, no freelancers were used as far as I know. Rendered with our small renderfarm using Vray.
In the end, it was a great experience.
lord.. this is the 2nd Dji I have watched.. who ever did these did a very good story line and I hope they will make more of him...

alright, after watching this whole thing, it sold itself to me. i love how there's no talking and lots of action. what i like best of all is their take on death. that was very satisfying to watch how he reacts and does his job in the animators own way.
I love these little shorts. Here's to Dji.

this has been the most funny thing i have seen in my life so far. this even ticled my fox soul with laugher plaese make a whole tv or web series with this version of death. i whole be up all night just waiting for the next episode. who is with me?

Man, I got to say, this funny as hell. Great story, although I would've liked to have seen just a little more in the beginning as to why death was with the guy in the first place. Otherwise brilliant.

I don't think anyone 'gets' the grim reaper. I don't even think he's suppose to get hurt, its an animation. I think he's just a personification of death, meaning he IS death itself in another form. Hope I helped.
