The process of felling large trembesi trees uses the husqvarna 3120 XP chainsaw and the husqvarna 395 XP chainsaw, the best wood cutting machine in its class by a professional wood chainsaw operator.
After the wood is cut to size, the 8 woodworkers carry it directly onto a truck to be sent to Jepara as material for woodworking and furniture, such as carved statues, carved chairs and solid trembesi tables.

Reason it is dangerous is you aren't tied into the tree and making lots of basic mistakes that will get you killed at some point. If a giant limb "barber chairs" it will knock you outta the tree and kill you or the butt will go airborn and come down on you squashing you like a bug.
Not to mention the most basic PPE like hearing protection or even flip-flops....
No ear or eye protection, no work gloves or boots, but everyone has a cell phone.
stupid question: why not DROP the tree, THEN slice it up ?
This tree breaks easily, so we prune it first to reduce the risk of wood breaking

Some of them trees should be labeled as WEEDS ! Over here we some like the Chinese elm that grows 12”+ a week and is an absolute mess when it seeds in the spring . They are also nearly impossible to kill it’s nuts!

These cowboys are a glaring example of societies being well behind the technical understanding of modern equipment. Why the hell would you need to cut a wedge section out of the side of a limb? I suspect they may have seen someone on a video doing it to fell a tree, so thought it would be a great idea.
Lots of yelling and directives from all the lookers on but not one suggestion regarding the chain adjustment. These tools should only be operated by knowledgeable, experienced people. Just sayin!!!
