- Another INSTANT R4nger classic. I am definitely trying this team again. If I'm not mistaken, you can resist the speed penalty from croco too which is really cool. This pet needs a lot of effort to get some gains out of compared to the rest.

Insane team, all deathless, including collector, death, shambler, mid runs

I really hope you try some DD2 mods. There’s an enemy randomizer I saw, Prophet from DD2 as a road fight boss, two really cool hero mods The Devotee & The Doll Master, and faster game speed.
My favorite is definitely Dev & DM, they’re amazing.
Got a couple on deck for the next week or 2 when scheduling permits :)

Hey, ShuffleFM, I've got a video idea for you: what changes would you like to see in the hero paths when RH finally gets around to doing that hero balance update?
Finally beat Ambition yesterday (hey, I don't have a lot of time to play, don't judge me). I must say, the boss is really cool, if maybe a little too easy. At first, I was a little stumped when I saw its health pool, but it makes sense with it having three phases.
EDIT: It's kind of funny how the Death's Door mechanic makes us DD fans so entitled. In most other games, a character gets to zero hit points and that's it, game over. Our game is gracious enough to give our characters a chance to survive and we get upset when they don't.

This is one of the issues with the game, when a hero in a crucial role dies its imposible to replace, I don't know how it would affect gameplay but I'd rather have the hero "revive" even if its with a negative quirk or a debuff that is diffucult to get rid off, I understand a hero dying should be punishing but it kills replayability as you need to run more consistent teams, makes all the time you took to get to that point a waste AND makes the rest of your run miserable.
I can't agree with this unless it was some extremely lucky mechanic that could bring back the dead. Like the graveyard in the first game.
@@TheGunslinger44 Could also be an item or something you can prepare for. Just some sort of mechanic that can salvage a run after just one death, being a hero down already reduces your chances to complete the region.
@@TheGunslinger44 In the first game characters were permanent though, so having a low % chance to get one back made sense. The goal here is to prevent a specific stand alone run from being irreplaceably destroyed by the loss of a single hero. To that end it would be better to have something consistent but which carries a significant downside vs hoping for a low % rng event.
I disagree that the time spent on the run is wasted. Even if you couldn't complete it, you still had fun playing up until that point, and if you didn't, why are you playing?
I'm thoroughly enjoying Ranger's editing, but dare I suggest that the intro audio, albeit appropriately atmospheric, sounds a tad bit grating?

One point of criticism, balance the audio so that your audio stings are closer to Shuff's game/speaking audio. The sudden bursts of loud noises aren't that funny when they're painful :L
