- While I do have an appreciation for antiques, I don’t necessarily want to become one in a certain sense of the word. Who does, really?
We should live our lives in such a way that no one ever has to wonder what we were used for or if we always just sat on a shelf.

As for antiques, I went to Graceland 20+ years ago and bought an unfinished Elvis bust. I decided to make it ibto the gawdiest lamp ever, so I rattle canned it bronze and hooked up the wiring, and it sat for 20 years. I always planned to check out some antique stores to get a horrendous gawdy lampshade for it. Lately I've had a renewed interest in fimishing it.

I can't go into an antique shop without looking at pocket knives, books, and baseball and hockey cards. Unfortunately since shaving my head, without hair to protect my head from low ceilings, it can be quite a hazard in some of these really old houses and barns here in New England!
With a shaved head, a hat is almost a must for that very reason

FWIW, I think we're all going to die with a certain level of pride and a certain level of regret, and I don't think the latter is avoidable because we cant go through life making no mistakes at all, and no wrong decisions. I also dont see you as ever turning into an antique. You're way too cool.
