I know this instruction was done 3yrs ago but I have gained some knowledge on how to approach a track I haven't raced on. This year (2022), I just started purchasing Viper chassis and the parts needed to build the cars. This video and the cars go in-line with how to start winning races in the SCHOR series in Southern California. Thank you and keep putting out content. I've learned a lot from previous videos.
@@CR3DT We use trackmate on almost everything. Although this particular track utilized Slot Trak with pit feature.. If you go that route be ready for some fun haha
Hey man, just a suggestion. It would be cool if you would do a tour of your facility there. How it works as far as assembly, shipping, etc etc. Just a thought. I'd like to see how you guys function, I'm sure other fans would find that interesting as well. Maybe even some background of how this all came to be for the two of you. I'm sure you didn't just wake up one day and decide to develop premium slots. Just a suggestion. Thanks buddy
Oh yeah, good stuff John! Keep em coming, thanks for taking the time to do these, nerds like me love anything slot car related as long as it's not a bunch of gobbledygook.
Have to build a table first, then mock up the track and mark were power wires, and timing control stuff will be, and drill/cut the table for those connections. Then build a bridge if the rrack needs one. After painting/finishing the table, then install the rail in the sections, then fasten the track down. Hook power/timing up, and test the track/race software.
@@viperscaleracing I am and old schooler grew up with tyco. I have 440x2 lev 10 . I would like to start viper collection . My tyco cars rear axel pops off chassi too thin for pin. I would like to start getting 2 viper cars and spare parts. Hopefully they will handle as good or better than tyco 440x2 wide and thin. I have 30 v 10a power supply. My track in attic on L shaped 4x8’s 22 ft by 30 feet !! 225 feet of track !! main straight’s 28, 16 ,15,12,9, 8,5,5feet, technical areas combine 2 12 ft of continuous s turns some 9”and12” several 270’s 1 610 turn leading to a str. I Hope this isn’t too long I would love any help with list of car and spare parts etc .
When you can barely see the car your racing because it's going so fast, that's not racing. It's pulling a trigger and letting the car's magnets and tires do all the work. I'll take the old AFX racing sets any day over this crap.

$6000 shipped
Be cool green felt infield, Yeah I know,do Green felt on your own da#n track, bye'eeee..
Do you model any formula one cars?
I'm not impressed. There is very little skill in racing these type of magnet cars.
Your comment suggest you have no actual clue of how much skill is required. Come race us, lets find out how much skill is involved :)
Let yer girlfriend try!
