UPDATE ON THE PROJECT: this is the best mod to the jeep i have done so far.. it completely changed the driving experience of the jeep and it thumps better than any stock factory higher end system i have seen so far in life.. i am leaving the walmart amp in.. and not changing anything.. if you have a TJ.. do this... you will NOT regret it
Would it be possible for you to post the dimensions of the box? I know there are quite a few peeps out there like myself who are missing the sub box for whatever reason. Awesome video, you inspired me and solved my problem of replacing my sub!

Nice job, working with the wood. I used the center console to house my after market amp, and to get it off the floor just in case I get caught in rain. As for the after market 10” sub, I cut all the innards out of the rear seat and fit a sealed box painted with flex seal into the bottom half of the seat. I have the 2005 LJ Unlimited absolutely no storage space is affected. The mod was DEFINITELY worth it..

Nice ... I'm about to do a similar thing but thinking of cutting the back of the console and maybe having the sub fire out that way ... maybe will glass it and make it look nice but I am definitely going to follow your advice and cut the bottom of the tray to get more room.

Can you share the link of the video where you wire up the fuse block. I'm looking to try to replicate what you did in this video for my 05 tj unlimited. and the wiring part is where i get a little confused.
