Thanks for the information, didn't even occur to me to rotate and try the fitment. I will definitely try it next time. Will make a difference when doing a bigger area than this path way. Thanks.
This is such a great idea not to mention a cost-effective way to make your concrete floors beautiful. I could not imagine buying bags and bags of cement just to fill those holes. I have a question how would we add color to this?
Normally I have another mold that I cut up in 4 pieces to do edges. In this design I didn't punch the edges, but stained the edges to a different color.
Usually I have another plastic piece that I cut into half to tackle the edges. In this case I didn't do the edges because I wanted to stain them in different color. Just my preference.
This looks easier, quicker, neater, more uniform, and with a lot less mess than filling the mold. I know how I am going to do mine now!
Thank you for de idea did a 10x12 shed floor
don't beat the mold directly, place wood over the top of the mold and hit that - other wise, your mold will end up with fractures from direct hitting.
A very good method for an even surface.
A clever way to create a pattern on concrete surfaces
Thank you. God bless you.
So helpful!!! Was trying to see if others used it in this way to! We will be trying.
Nice job
Wow! Thanks.
Nice hack. Thanks for the video!
Where can I buy
How about laying about 1” foundation, then set mould , tap it some , level then fill up the mould with concrete to get full pattern ?
You need more mould then. I am reusing the same one many times.
Is it any good from my gate to the garage for the car to roll on?
It's concrete, same as driveway as long as you have reinforcement. Just make the groves shallow.
Nice bro 🎉
I like it its easy
Thank you very much
Great video. Thanks boss for the great ideas stay safe and healthy wherever this finds you.
You know you can rotate the mold to get a more random pattern?
Thanks for the information, didn't even occur to me to rotate and try the fitment. I will definitely try it next time. Will make a difference when doing a bigger area than this path way. Thanks.
maybe you can use release powder or oil
How long should I wait after laying concrete to stamp?
Depends on how wet it is, you stamp right after any standing water disappears but concrete is still wet.
Great job sir. What if you have a wide area to work with? Do you divide the area in segments?
You can get 4 of these molds and pre-screw them together for bigger areas. You can also cut them down to smaller pieces for edges and narrow spaces.
Where to buy stamp can I make myself???
Hi, where are you guys located?
How can I get this
This is such a great idea not to mention a cost-effective way to make your concrete floors beautiful. I could not imagine buying bags and bags of cement just to fill those holes. I have a question how would we add color to this?
You can use concrete dye to get an even reddish color. Or you can do everything and stain just the areas you want to stand out.
How would you do a curve?
You use a Masonite siding or PVC concrete form for curved sidewalk forms.
Where from we can get this frame

It looks a bit to wet, and what about edges
What do you do with the edges
Normally I have another mold that I cut up in 4 pieces to do edges. In this design I didn't punch the edges, but stained the edges to a different color.
Just press it in about 10 mm you are only after the pattern.
What about the edges?
Usually I have another plastic piece that I cut into half to tackle the edges. In this case I didn't do the edges because I wanted to stain them in different color. Just my preference.

What would you do if you want to add texture?
Depends on what texture, you can use coarse sweeper to run lines or use a fiber shoe mat to imprint. You can also get mold of stone patterns as well.
Tried it. Alas, The hammer EASILY Chips the plastic mould and if you hi ahead, the mould is condemned in no time.
😂
Saves time, waste concrete.
Bad shape
