tips for how to get free hard woods for woodworking

This is a bit of a rant as I keep seeing people saying they cant get good wood deals and dealing with demanding people wanting dirt cheap prices but perfect lumber all the same size and length, to them I say just stay at lowes and home depot they got what you want. if you want good wood for low prices dont be picky.

Nice Work! That is a really cool set up you've got there. I'm quite impressed because you have some really nice stuff, but it makes complete sense to not be picky and take it all. From my understanding, big shops usually make larger products, so off cuts are great for small projects. Thanks for the advice. Keep the videos coming good sir! -Chase

Thank you I appreciate that and yes for the bigger places short off cuts even 4' boards are not worth the time to sort and store them its more cost effective for them to just get them out of the way.
