My Symphony SR 125 is going to my friend at the end of the month, so I was looking at the new JET 14.. So the review is at very welcomed timing.. Another good one, Alex... Kudos.
I confess, I smile watching you kamikaze drive through traffic while staying focused on the subject matter, (quite a feat if I do say so myself)?!👍🏻 Very thorough review, (as always). Best, Rola (Oregon / USA).
@@RideWithAlex Understood, but you’re doing all that while never missing a beat with the information?! That’s an entirely different level of concentration while riding! Best / R
I’m surprised that scooters haven’t caught on here in America. I live in a pretty populated area. This would resolve a lot of issues for single people and couples without kids.
Very interesting. Looks like Sym have moved the Jet 14 more toward the Orbit/Fiddle platform with the under-floor fuel tank, which is no bad thing. Shame about the windscreen, I have a big touring windscreen on my Fiddle and it's really good at deflecting the rain, wind and bugs.
That fuel tank relocation and filling arrangement is scooter engineering inspiration. It will change the riding experience beyond imagination. I would add a usb outlet and a bigger screen but they’ve left themselves some scope for planned model upgrades throughout its lifecycle. You might get away with small bar end mounted hand guards.
I still haven't decided which scooter to buy and you've made it a lot harder with this one hahahaha I can't decide what to do start off with a more touring scooter like Joyride 125, adx 125 or cruisym 125 or go cheaper and then buy one of those with a larger engine later down the track and start this or Jet 4 RX. it's not really about money unless I want to buy a joyride or cuisym 300 later down the track a more expensive 125 would slow that down but eh if it can get me adventuring I don't care
Hello Alex, great work on all of your videos i really enjoy them! I would like to ask if you know , Jet 14 evo 2024 and ADX 125 have the same 125 L/C engine? Thank you :)
Another point I want to make sure of. They market this model as saying that the motor oil is changed every 5,000 kilometers. Is this true? It is hot in Egypt.
Sym says if you use quality oil you can go 5000km but you have to check your oil level every 1000km. Tbh I don't recommend more then 2500km in any small engines that have less then 1L of oil in them.
Hi Alex I'm Yassin from Morocco, I've been watching your videos for a while and I appreciate the information you share with us and I have a question for you, would you advise me to buy the sym symphony st 200 because I liked it but I'm not sure about the quality and efficiency, I would be grateful if you answered me thank you
Hi Alex. Greetings from an Zontes 350E owner. I just wanted to ask if your dealership (sense you are in EU) has any information from Zontes when 368G is coming to Europe. It is officially announced now with the price in China and sense you are official dealership for Zontes I wondered do you already have an info. TIA
Hi, I hope you had a great time in Greece, do you think it's worth changing my sym jetx 125 for this? The power os more? I like also the space under the seet to this evo

It seems kind of lazy to me to use the same engine as previous models I would expect improvements like lower fuel consumption, more horsepower more torque and the main question is why don't they go 200cc and they prefer 169cc if someone know I would like a reply to my comment
You're looking at it wrong. This class is basically upted 125cc, with imperative to stay economical and affordable to buy, ride and service. It's perfect in that sense. Belt and transmission are the same, engine is basically the same, but whit a more muscle in climbing urban hilly roads.. 👌

Another informative video.
Does it come in LC?
🙏🇹🇭
Yes, 125cc LC
great review Alex! Did sym change the factory tyres? I 've heard they were pretty bad for the previous model
Still the same CST tires. They are good in the dry, problems start to appear in the rain.

If I remember correctly same as the symphony 200st manufacturer says 2.7l/100km . I have talked to many 200st owners and most say 3.1 to 3.5/100km

Which do you prefer air or water cooled? I know the advantages and disadvantages of both. But which do you prefer?
I have the air cooled on my Symphony ST I think that says it all :)

Thank you very much Alex the little doubt I had is gone now, and I decided to take it 🫡

Greetings from Athens Alex.
Between Voge sr1 adv 125cc and Sym jet 14 evo 125cc I bought Voge....I want your opinion
I've never seen the Voge in person.
I have this one right now in 1040 km. I have liquid cooled ! How many kms will it do? u think it can go 200 km to 300 km trip?
2-300 should be the fuel range.
@@RideWithAlex I mean. Can i go to a big distance trip? 200 km + will it be safe?
@@salot19 oh yeah, for sure.
How much distance does cross from a full fuel tank till it empties
About 250-300km depends how hard you ride it

how much fuel?
The fuel tank is 7 liters.
I didn’t see charging port for the phone here, does it have one ?
Yes, next to the ignition key.
What’s the top speed and what the 0-60?
Top speed about 100km/h and 0-60km/h haven't measured it.

Because the 169cc is a well proven engine, very reliable and long lasting. Plus it's expensive to develope a completely new engine from 0.
