It's really quite remarkable what playing the game looks like in 2023.
I've never really thought blizzard should do away with addons until I see parses like this...
The chasm between a person wanting to do well and beat the boss for a gear upgrade, versus a computer science major using 27 addons and weak auras is so fucking wild.
Trust me when I say this. Most people at the top don't really enjoy dealing with all of the addons. Then you have to know how to use them as well. I would prefer the game without addons and agree with your sentiment, but since we are competitive to some degree, we have to use them since they are allowed.

According to sims orc is better until TOGC where its fairly even outside of northrend beasts, then sims say troll is better in ICC, buts they are both really close. Play which one you like more is the real answer. Its always within 100 dps.

I run this spec: www.wowhead.com/wotlk/talent-calc/hunter/501-0053051-5000032500033330531115301301_001xjt11xjw21xjv as for the glyphs, on twins only I swap explosive trap for serpent sting. Glyph of Steady Shot also sims very close as well.

@@spartaqq It doesn't matter really for Twins, in the build I sent you, use those glyphs for every boss, and use sting or steady shot only on twins.

@@jeremiahsilvester2235 I do not, but I am also not rank 1 on the fight. Looking at the current rank 1 hunter on that fight, he does not.

I'm not running Aimed Shot, because multi does almost the same damage anyways and shares a cooldown and does more damage then Steady Shot as a filler.

this is the only boss that feels good as a hunter... Half of the times my guildies kill my pet in with the worm debuff in beasts plus trap doesnt count on cobolts, Valkyries sucks cause no trap weaving+soaking, the pvp boss is ok but logs dont matter, and i hate anub cause i am assigned to get the snow down every time like hunters are the only ranged class plus I md the adds to the offtanks but mostly i hate him cause the scarab dmg doesnt count. why it doesnt count?? should we get killed by them?
Completely agree man. That's why I'm not even playing hunter at the moment. Felt extremely bad and was struggling to have fun in the game.

I don’t blame you for spawning extra adds to increase dps but man I wish WCL could legislate this stuff in a way that feels fair. I also don’t want every fight to be a target dummy. Idk the answer
I feel you there, Trust me, this is not stuff we want to do by any means, but if you are trying to compete by WCL rules things just need to happen a certain way. This really is only ever an issue in classic because people just happen to care way more about parse logs in classic. The big problem is, if you limit adds, you then promote people not cleaving for others to parse. It's lame all around!
Any chance to have your Weak Auras - Hunter?
Which ones? I use my action bars and just put them in the center of my screen.

@@Chowderr2raw Take 1 point out of expose weakness and put it into thrill of the hunt to solve any mana issues. Regardless if you're playing the standard build or improved serpent sting build.
