Card collecting shouldn’t be this stressful. Those piece of shit scalpers are ruining what’s supposed to be a fun stress-free hobby.
You're not wrong! It sucks and I hope things change. We will see what happens in this next prismatic evolution release. If they didn't print the hell out of it, then we are f'ed for a bit longer.

Didn't they already promised to print more to make it widely accessible? We just have to wait patiently a few months.
They did say that. I do hope it's true, but from my understanding they said the same for surging Spark's that should be this month. Journey together the next month and then maybe prismatic evolution. So we will see if it helps.

I like Traumatic Evolution or Proxy-matic Evolutions, since that might be the only way for some people to enjoy the art of these cards in person....which is sad to type out...

I just wanted the promo from the surprise box, but each of them are going for $75/e (Umbreon is $300) which makes having a master Eevee collection next to impossible for the lower class students.
I hope the promos are not that crazy but it wouldn't surprise me. I was doing a master set of paradox rift and it got to crazy. I cant imagen the cost of PE master setting.
The pull rates are a JOKE. 5 ETB's, 4 poster collection, 2 binder collections, absolutely no good hits. Maybe not a very big sample, but the problem is they are too hard to find at MSRP, so the option is scalpers. NO MORE. 4 of the Eevee ETB cards were chipped still sealed in the packaging. No more.
Im with you. Im not buying anything right now and if i do its for my little shop. They say the pull rates as easy but I have been killed by how bad they really are.

I'm going to need more then that. Are you talking about the TCG online or just people wanting to play the game. How are they part of the problem. I'm not disagreeing with you I'm just wanting to know what your reasoning is. More people in the hobby will lower supplies. Is that it?
@ my issue is that everyone throws a fit when scalpers try to resell the product at 4-20x the initial value, but when tcg player does it people are like “well at least we can get it 🤪” imo tcg player is just another scalper and just another individual/ site that I personally will never use no matter how much I “want” some prismatic evolutions. I’m all for people enjoying the hobby, but they’re not able to currently due to these issues. And imo it will only get worse
@Iantwi_dg o i see. Ya, i can agree with that statement. It is used way too often as a catch-all word. People cry about msrp until they have something worth more than it's all about market price. Most of the anger is that people can't find things. People want what they can't have. I tell people to look at other sets that can still be found.

Im doing that. im picking up other sets as everyone is looking at prismatic. I got a few PE for my little shop but I am looking at other sets to stock my shop. When PE drops lower or in the next year Ill pick more up.

When it goes OOP, it is only going to make scalpers charge even more for the set like what happened with Evolving Skies and Hidden Fates. In fact, I could easily see a Fossil Pack being cheaper than a Prismatic pack in the future.
I was lucky enough to get two surprise boxes from the Pokémon Center site! Still will go out on the 7th tho hunting, the pull rates do not look kind.
Same, I got 2 on Pokémon center site and didn't even know what it was. Just that it was new and at $22.99 at the time. Ill be hunting the stores on the 7th too.
Its a new set, ill just wait a year, im not in a hurry to make scalpers rich, i rather buy crypto instead
