Hear how Barrie started sewing and stitching. How her love of working with needle and thread transformed into her successful company Stitchfolk.
Hi 🙋♀️ Grace, & Barrie, just spectacular ‼️❣️ I’ve been a Barrie fan girl since she started bought several bags over the years & loved her floss tube when she was doing them! Ollie was so cute 🐾😍. I also love the friendship the two of you have how beautiful was that to see and feel so very fortunate 😘 The stitching you both showed how wonderful was that Gorgeous 🤩. Enjoy your retreats. So appreciate these Grace 🥰

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy them!
Loved this Flosstube! You have a lot of beautiful samplers going. Fun to hear your story, too.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for sharing your floss tube 😊
I am so enjoying these videos. I admire each of your expertise and knowledge. I have never been to a retreat BUT today we leave (from Central Illinois) to go to Cooperstown with our sons family to watch our grandson play at baseball camp for a week, then to Niagara Falls, and when our sons family heads home, my husband and I are going to Hobby House! I never thought I would ever get there! I do belong to a stitch group for Illinois Stitchers, Land of Lincoln Stitchers but no close LNS so this will be a real treat.
Thank you Parry! Enjoy your vacation and trip to Hobby House. It is on my bucket list.
How fun! Love you both ❤️❤️
Loved this video ladies! ❤❤ Sharon
Thank you Sharon! ❤️❤️
This was very, very fun. I hate it that I also missed meeting Barrie at the QCSG event in May! But I'll be in Swindon next year, so maybe I'll get the chance. But all of the chat and info, and the projects that you are working on, Barrie, and those that the two of you are working on - absolutely stunning. Thanks for this series, Grace. A brilliant idea and O so fun.
Love this flosstube! I will be at the GBSW Comes to America and can’t wait to meet you both! And yes, Barrie - bring your flosstube back!❤️
Can't wait! Thank you for watching!
What is not to love!!! Can’t wait to see you both in February 2025.

Grace, This was the GOAT Flosstube. OMG. Grace and Barrie together! Thank you, Barrie, for mentioning my idea of a stitch book. I am still working on it. Your idea of having an FT for the day is fantastic. Love you both. Happy stitching. Best, K
Thank you Karen!!!!
I will never forget this wonderful meet-up we had in Phoenix ❤
It was the best!!
@@paisleystitcher1243 yes it was ❤️❤️❤️
Lol, Grace, I stitch sideways and put y pattern sideways too! Barrie, I love your bags! The quote for your nephew’s piece is from Outlander! Da mi basia mille! I have 92 Wips, so don’t feel bad! The antiquing is awesome in the finger lakes region of New York!
Thank you for watching Judy! I need to pay attention to the direction I am stitching! 😁
Thank you ladies. Fabulous! Really enjoyed watching.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
I would so encourage Barrie to come back to her flosstube videos. I enjoyed them so much, 5 1/2 videos is just not enough! 😁
Me too!!
I ordered 3 Millennium frames from Needle Needs last month and I got them within 3 weeks. Stands were back ordered for 4-5 weeks.
I love my frames!
Two floss tubers for a day in one weekend! What a treat. Loved all the stitching!
About the special stitches: back in the 80’s Darlene O’Steen and others did many samplers with all sorts of stitches beyond cross stitches, then in the 90’s, the Drawn Thread incorporated beautiful complex stitches like Rhodes stitches. It’s nice that there’s been a resurgence of interest in traditional stitches.
Thank you Trudy! Appreciate the info on specialty stitches and so happy there is a resurgence!
I loved seeing this video! So good to see both of you. So cool to have meet yall at the same time y’all meet each other.
Loved this - you should definitely do again!!
❤❤❤
Ladie. I so loved this episode. My goal in life is to have a Barrie bag, maybe some day!! Can you share where to buy those tomatoes?!? That is my new obsession too

So glad to see Barrie back on Flosstube for a bit. I have missed her videos but recognize that she is busy being a boss bag maker. 🙌
Hi! I’m new to your channel and also in San Diego! Back into cross stitching after many years away from it! Sure wish San Diego had a LNS! Hobby Lobby and Michael’s have so little! So enjoyed this video, thank you so much ladies!
Hi Lori! Yay another San Diego stitcher!!! We have a monthly meet up. Would love for you to join us! If you are interested, please message me on IG.
Another great interview Grace! Thank you for sharing your story Barrie! I think I bet Olive at Summer School when she was just a pup. 😻
Barrie's sampler by Henrietta C. Rogers might be Henrietta C, Roger born 1836 in Monmouth, New Jersey, She married Abraham Stout. She died in 1899 in Ocean County, New Jersey.
Great to listen to you, I have one Barrie bag, lucky me would like more but for where I live the freight cost is nearly the price of the bag 😢
Sorry to hear that! Thank you for watching!!!
