As every techie, I'm in between phones right now and I'm realizing now that weight really does matter. I'm rocking the fold 4 at the moment and trying to justify keeping it because it's awesome, but I also have the S23, 23FE, 22Ultra (basically the fold but one screen) Razr 2023 and now a Motorola Edge Plus 2022. All these phones and I still can't make up my mind. So many good things but scattered through out all of them. I'm thinking sell the fold 3 and 4 I have and keep the Motorola. Sounds random, but I love using Motorola Ready For and on the S23 the DEX option feels the same as on the S10. I'll probably swap phones again, but I wish all android phones had a base camera because color tones are all over the place on my Google photos. Things I now know I dislike in phones: - Too heavy - 25w charging takes about 1:30hr - curved screens (screen protectors are impossible to find or install) - New design phones have 0 cases - Really wide phones over tall phones. I use all my phones with developer mode on and all animations off with the highest refresh rate to keep things Super Smooth! Man I love android, but it sucks that one iPhone here and there can pay for the whole inventory.......
Like Motorola but they're the absolute Dire when it comes to mobile software support, there still claiming devices like the Edge lite 20 and the Edge 20 fusion are both still getting Android 13 😂😂😂 they been saying it's coming for 2 years... Not worth getting a device they abandon software support after 10 months, despite what they claim, even security patches then start coming few and far between
Why are you comparing this with ONE Plus 12 ? its price is exactly half the price of One plus 12. In India it's price is 28k whichis Roughly equal to $335 US DOLLAR ..
HELP. I'm UK based, Need to make a decision. Motorola Edge 50Pro vs Google Pixel 8a. I have a small budget. Vodafone can get the Motorola for £17/month with 8gb (£20/50 GB) on £30 upfront. Or the google pixel 8a for £23 same 8gb or £26 for 50gb. Despite the relative cost increase, I think I'm leaning towards the google, just because you get 7 upgrades and the phone seems more user friendly (Motorola screen has to be a nightmare?). I need to do selftapes for film extra work and I can see myself working better with the Google. But then the motorola in the Vodafone dela has 512GB storage!!!!! cs 128 on the Google 8a. Oh did I say ... I'm leaving Apple: currently have an iphone SE 2020 and I'm fed up running second hand iPhones (I did consider a second hand iPhone 12 mini). What to do?
I've never had a good telephoto lens on my phones, but WOULD like that on my next. Just how useful is such a lens in the wide range of pictures you take? Did that balloon flight & sideways landing break anyone's bones? I'm terrified of them and prefer a decent helicopter.
Telephoto lenses are fantastic for people, as it's a much more natural field of view than a wide lens. Less distortion of the face ECT. Once you get used to using a good one you can't go back haha

Motorola policy nowadays is to make cool looking phones, but performance is not that cool.
Things I now know I dislike in phones:
- Too heavy
- 25w charging takes about 1:30hr
- curved screens (screen protectors are impossible to find or install)
- New design phones have 0 cases
- Really wide phones over tall phones.
I use all my phones with developer mode on and all animations off with the highest refresh rate to keep things Super Smooth! Man I love android, but it sucks that one iPhone here and there can pay for the whole inventory.......
In india price of 125 volt charger,of 50 pro is Rs 31000 on 27/09/24
Do you work with a team?
Like Motorola but they're the absolute Dire when it comes to mobile software support, there still claiming devices like the Edge lite 20 and the Edge 20 fusion are both still getting Android 13 😂😂😂 they been saying it's coming for 2 years... Not worth getting a device they abandon software support after 10 months, despite what they claim, even security patches then start coming few and far between
This is the iterative update. Their real flagship is the Ultra, I will patiently wait for it in the USA.
Got the edge 50 ultra was the biggest mistake I had in my life it feels premium but not as flagship
Why are you comparing this with ONE Plus 12 ? its price is exactly half the price of One plus 12. In India it's price is 28k whichis Roughly equal to $335 US DOLLAR ..
Does he look Indian to you??
@@haywoodjblome4768 what ? How this is related to my Comment ?
@@vikrantdogra19 Why would he care about Indian prices? He's in the UK
He is a UK reviewer, and the OnePlus is a similar price to this Moto, and clearly, the OnePlus is the better choice for most.
sword in the stone. I could get the reference without the image. I am ancient :(
In my country this device is in 520 dollars a total beast for the price
What to do?
Stilling using UFS 2.2 in this day and age is horrendous
I've never had a good telephoto lens on my phones, but WOULD like that on my next. Just how useful is such a lens in the wide range of pictures you take? Did that balloon flight & sideways landing break anyone's bones? I'm terrified of them and prefer a decent helicopter.
Telephoto lenses are fantastic for people, as it's a much more natural field of view than a wide lens. Less distortion of the face ECT. Once you get used to using a good one you can't go back haha
Thought this will kick 12r out of the park but sadly no !! That's still a king under 40k
I'm still getting to know all about motorola flagships
Hi, in EU the phone is round 200/300 Euro cheapter then the Oneplus 12, so from money standpoint not even close. I would consider to be a rival for the Oneplus 12 to be the Moto Edge 50 Ultra. Maybe a direct comparison to Moto Edge 50 pro would be the Oneplus 12R, or the bloated Xiaomi 13T which provides a decent kick for its price. Cheers mate
Sword in the stone is my favorite Disney movie
Is anyone still buying outdated curved screen phones now in 2024?
Any front camera phone on a mobile will never be in my hand.
Explain
Got this sweetheart for €400. And thats what the actual price should be. €450 - 500 at very most. So I'm happy. This is a good device but overpriced.
moto doesnt provide longterm OS updates, wonder when that will change. Strange as it was previously owned by google at some point
Wahay, love a good Bruce Lee HUWAAAA!!!
When you gonna review the ultra model dude? Love you 😂
Wow this phone fucking sucks, i appreciate the fact that you destroyed this phone without fear of not being sponsored again.
