The obsession is real BUT it will last me forever because to me, they are the perfect style for my body type. I have consistently been choosing same size except for the dark blue, which I sized down in. (tip: look at measurements on description and measure pants you already own to see how they will fit) 💕

Levi's sizing really is crazy! I ordered both 28 and 29 in the Ribcage style, in two different colors, and guess what - they turned out to be exactly the same size! (Like you, I found the dark color to run smaller than the light one.) I usually wear a 28, but yeah - I could certainly could have gone with a 27 in either color. Thanks for the informative, no-bullshit review. :) Shopping for jeans is hell, and I appreciate your detailed descriptions and helpful update very much.
I own six pairs of 501s in different shades. The darker shades contain about 2% polyester. I believe the polyester allows the fabric to darken more. The jeans definitely holds its shape and color very well. I wash them inside out in cold water, and hang them. I’m just not a fan of dryers.
They all fit you well. I can see the 28 fits you a little tighter be still looks really nice on you. I like all the colors but I think the original color is my favorite but you can make anything look beautiful. Great video!

Love the smaller size. I bought 4 pairs of ribcage and bought them in one size smaller and 2 in 2 sizes smaller. Breathing is optional .. but I love how I look in them. They just are not comfortable enough to sit in or to wear more than 2 to 3 hours. But beauty is pain and I love my waist and hips pulled in 2 to 3 inches like a corset.
You read my mind! I just bought my first pair of Levi's Ribcage in 28W 27L and they arrived today. They are a med dark wash and I'm hoping they look as good on me as those grey ones do on you. Wish me luck!
@@diya-hn2wy im 5"8.5 and they are definitely cropped. They hit just above my Blundstone boots if that helps. They will be really cute in the spring summer but in the winter I'll need some type of thick sock to cover the exposed skin.

Literally died, i ordered two ribcage jeans (different sizes, same colour) in a light wash and i now wear my normal size. I have massive hips and a small waist and i did not get the smaller size above my hips like wtf. Stayed with my normal size and it fits, but it’s very tight around my hips. So, if you’re on the curvier side, go for your normal size or size up. :)
I bought the darker shade in the bootcut style and I love them. I am a size 12 but I bought size 30 and is still a bit tight on my waist. It stretched quickly in my thighs and knee area, but the waist is quite tight. Can't fit a t-shirt tucked in. Still, I love the way they look :)

I am on a lose weight journey since January, so I am hoping to have them fit more comfortably some time soon 🙂Here in the UK I don't think the outlet is that good. I can never find wedgie, 501 or ribcage in there. In the US it was great, the outlet had every model. I bought a few pairs, but I still can't wear them 😔 One pair is size 28 because the denim is so stretchy, but I can't wear them yet. I love Levi's, all models. I think they are very flatering.

Levi’s, changes the name of the shades here and there. However, the shades remain pretty the same. The lighter ones are called fainted blue. Mid wash tango gossip. The darker ones have a new name which is Noe dark blue. And the ones I’m wearing , if you can still find them… grey. I’ll try and update the links below as I can see they no longer work because some of the shades have been removed
