In this video we have shown how to collect, store and grow moss. Moss is used to decorate the bonsai pot surface for exhibitions. Moss grows in high Humidity and indirect sunlight and could be grown on bricks and bricks pieces and black clay because such material holds water.

Great video very helpful .. please do videos on moss that found on yard, terece, different types of moss like we get it from our home surroundings , I got a moss which looks like pearls on the stem, I don't know it's name but it's so beautiful .I got it from my terrace near water tank .

I Was in 9 th std when I got a Ginseng ficus bonsai it was 5 years old. Now I am in 21th std.The bonsai is 7 years now .I got moss today which I put in the vase it looks like grass hope it how good and successful after 30 day.

Can moss be put on a bonsai pot always..or only for sometime
If you have the availability of moss you can put all round the year, no problem. But don't cover the whole pot that will block the oxygen to the roots and could harm the plant, decorate it in small patches

moss will never grow like this... to propagate moss u need to wash it thoroughly to remove all the debris and then put a false bottom and thin substrate in transparent tupperware box and over that u lay out the moss you want to propagate.. Hydrate it by spraying water and seal the container and place the box in a bright area without direct sunlight..
thats the best way to grow moss at home!!
