This is still amazing 5 years later. "One of the best days on the hill for many years" - from someone who's had quite a few great hill days!
Without a doubt Dave is my most favourite climber. He is so inspirational and versatile climber
Outstanding, very few professional climbers will climb all 8s in their lifetime! Dave Mac is by himself in terms of mastery cross discipline.
First thing his wife said when he got home: "Did you wipe your feet before entering?" ;-) One of the best adventure/climbing movie i've seen so far, thanks a lot, congrats, and cheers from france
5:07 "If you're going to commit, the worst place you can possibly be is in mid-route having a discussion with yourself about whether you are really committed" ... sounds familiar as a trad learner! Thanks Dave and for an amazing film Kevin
Cracking piece of filmmaking Kevin, very well done. And Dave, what a man. Amazing stuff.
Great achievement on a fantastic winter day and with a superb edit!
Wow, this is just an incredibly awesome challenge and and an awesome day. I'm glad you cold film it so well, the feeling absolutely came trough.

That really was high class all the way; climbing, filming, narration and scenery. Awesome.
Amazing climbers amazing videography ❤️
Inspiring stuff. So epic.
Incredible!!! I’m sure most people outside of Scotland wouldn’t realize what an utterly outstanding feat this is!!! Can’t think of anyone else out there capable of repeating this.

I was describing this challenge to my wife the other day and remembered it as one munro -- absolutely floored that it was 8!!!!
Phenomenal!
what a legend!
Awesome! 👏👏👏
Brilliant
Pure passion
AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENT. YOUR SKILL, STAMINA, STRENGTH, AND COURAGE ARE AMAZING. ALSO, YOU APPEAR TO BE LIVING IN HEAVEN ON EARTH. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION TO WAKE UP IN EVERY MORNING. 👍👍👍
very impressive
But what about the 8 pints in Fort William?
Eight cups of tea in Roybridge after sounds about right
@@Kevin-Woods or eight days in bed :-)
@@sophie-grace9143 Not far from the truth!
@@Kevin-Woods It's a great film by the way. I watched it in a hotel room in darkest Englandshire two nights ago. It raised my spirits :-)
@@sophie-grace9143 Thank you Sophie. That it might have given a little bit of light is high praise indeed.
What a legend
Unbelievable!
im moving to the highlands
can't blame you, I love living in the highlands, by far and away the best area of the UK
As you enter your house at the end, a perfect scene would be you with axe in hand shouting "honey I'm home"
What a place to live..
THE best, not one of, THE BEST!!.
makes me just want to get out. and what a nice guy!
The music is so weird: a pity. Images and vidéo fantastic, but the background music obliged us to mute the sound. What a shame..
Hmmm, the trouble with guys like Dave is they make these routes look easy to climb. But I can only pass those routes and doff my hat. Nice one Dave 👌👌👍👍
that was amazing, truely incredible, how do u get such a massive house from just playing around outdoors?
Rally cool
#bucketlist
Nice.
Possible new route name?
Man has to prove himself, I used to do the Mamores in a long day, realised it was rather silly, one a day enough for enjoyment.
I reckon i could just about do the 8 munroes in 24 hours at a stretch. The rest I'll never get anywhere near
How have only 10% of viewers liked this?
10k walk home after ?! Immense.
Now it's time for the same challenge but in reverse order 😉
after the sportroute, does anyone know why he didnt clean the route, to save time?
I just nipped up and collected my kit on another day. I wasn't going to be carrying my sport climbing kit over the mountains so made sense just to leave it all until later.
@@climbermacleod that makes sense!
What month was that please?
@ the 3.00 mark it tells you......
Lol! Homie started sprinting after that first boulder problem! He said "Lets get on!" Haha! Awesome!
I'll settle for 8 scones and 8 cuppas.
Amazing achievement. Next challenge for someone, maybe to flash climb the grade 8 routes, flash the boulder, and do 8 munro's that the participant hasn't been up before?
.....what the fuck did he say /= UNCLICK
Be careful dave! You’re choking on your own accent!
for fuck's sake
talk about setting a high bar
Incredible!
