Quite enjoyed it. Thanks for making it. I was wondering if you could make a video about clutch cable adjustment, please. I feel like my lever is a bit tight but there is almost no other way for a smooth (initial) moving. Really want to see how much of cable should left naked right next to push lever (top of engine)Thanks again.

Hi I love your videos on this bike! Not many people mod the sr250. I have a 1982 sr250 and I was wondering if you had to install that roller pin on your engine to increase oil flow to the head? I saw Yamahas recommended it because the sr250s kept blowing up. I don’t think my bike ever had it done so when I loosen that bleeder screw on the top end barley any oil comes out. Just wondering if you have any advice on this?

Hey man! There are a ton of people who modify these bikes man - it has become one of the very popular donor bikes. With regards to the roll pin mod, you can find out more in this technical article here: www.bikebound.com/2020/05/18/yamaha-sr250/#:~:text=The%20Yamaha%20SR250%20is%20one,great%20base%20bike%20for%20builders.

@@JadusMotorcycleParts I did mine last year. Made significant difference. Take no chance if you want to keep your SR250. There is nothing special about that roller pin. Any hardware store would carry that. Just ask if need more info. Here is what I have seen before and after roller pin installation on mine.
      BEFORE:
      a) Seen oil coming out of bleeding hole when unscrewed.
      b) Slight (top/cylinder) engine noisy.
      c) Acceleration. Hardly able to make 85km/hour on a decent road.
      d) When running or idling, I was not able to see any oil on the level window !!!!!!!!!!!!
      AFTER:
      a) Seen oil coming out of bleeding hole when unscrewed.
      b) Engine (top/cylinder) noisy reduced.
      c) Acceleration way better. Can make 90km/hour. Haven't got a chance to exceed that. But feel like it can make it (remember, manufacturer claimed top speed is 115km/hour).
      c) When running or idling, I see almost full of oil in the level window (this is the most important part in my opinion).
