You can save yourself some time by just swapping the kit for the equivalent Producer kit ( in your case Liverpool -> Liverpool+ ) when creating the multi-output setup. It will create all the outputs and the summing track. Not to mention you will get access to some additional tracks like Leak, Room A, Room B and sometime some additional processing auxes pre-made for you to try.
@@woodyardmusic No worries. Also worth mentioning is that you can swap/tune/dampen individual drum components and leak level in the plugin as well. Just double click on the "Drum Designer" as usual instruments. (*some options are only available on Producer kits)
Dude, you're an amazing teacher - thanks for the inspiration how to not only treat logic drummer but drums in general. Best tutorial I've seen in a long time! All the best! Thank you!!
An easy hack is to split the kit into different drummer tracks, so you can have a simple kick with a complex snare, etc. That combined with the “follow” feature really opens it up.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge on the Logic Drummer. Like you, I’ve been a drummer and not quite satisfied with what I got from the Logic Drummer. This is game changing for me so a big thank you.
This is a really good nuts and bolts mixing vid for someone new to logic. Im familiar with live, but am beingdrawn to logic lately. Logic Pro in iPad pulled me in. Haha.
Doesn’t the mix knob in the compressor do the same thing as your parallel compression bus setup, if you put the compressor on the summing stack? (Unless you change the sends from unity, that is.)
Very helpful. Up until this point, I’ve never fired so many drummers.😂 Parker, that sounds awful. Zack, you call that Liverpool? Aiden, get yer head outta yer @ss. You’re all fired! 😂

plus you can record and add more drum hits on the tracks below the main track like crashes etc
oh nice! good stuff in the comments today!@@normjones6916

Man I absolutely LOVED this video! This is exactly what i needed. I really appreciate the level of detail you put into this, thanks!
Hey thanks so much for saying that! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Nice video. Lots of good tips. I noticed right at the very end that you dialled down the room reverb. I'm glad you did that!
Thanks! I usually tweak the room reverb at the end one I’m blending it with the band, really hard to get a good gauge on it before that

Awesome! Hope it helps
Great tips! Thank you!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
You did a great job here. Next level up option is starting with a "producer kit+" for those who want the most flexibility and control from the start.
Thanks! And yeah I always forget about the Producer kit+, by the time I want something that detailed I usually just switch to Addictive Drums 😅
Thank You - just what i needed !👌
Great! You’re welcome.
Great video!!! Thank you
Love it! You’re welcome.
This is super helpful, thanks!
Glad to hear it! You’re welcome

It does accomplish the same! I just prefer having it on a bus/fader setup. Just my personal preference
Keep clicking the Create button but nothing happens - is my library missing?
Like the “+” track button?
@@woodyardmusic Turns out I moved my sample library - Create button was showing but when I clicked, nothing happened. Thank you!
@@LEVIJmusic glad you figured it out!
Great tutorial. You'd benefit from a less noisy mike though.
Yeah, my laptop fan is so loud right now

Great advice. I do reall😢hate sample drums
It’s never the same as the real thing, but I try to get it as close as I can!

It's possible, you can try locating/relocating logic's library and see if that helps
