I absolutely love Shark vacuums, we used to have a shark lift away navigator, the red and white one, and loved it. We are in the market for a new one and I love this one.
I found a Shark Rocket HV 381C in a dumpster that was CLOGGED with cat hair and filters NEVER cleaned. Assumed dead and tossed out i guess. I cleaned it to new and it's crackerjack! Youre truth about the strong suction power. Highly maneuverable, lightweight, easy storage. This corded vac is better than the best Dyson cordless which makes it a compromise that keeps your whole house clean at an affordable purchase price. FYI i have a Dyson V 12. I like it and use it but whoa its expensive. Hence my compromise comment above.
i just ordered this rocket deluxe pro from amazon and my friend told me dyson are the best. but from the reviews i've seen this rocket is probably just as good for a fraction of the price. and i would prefer corded over a wireless one that could have battery problems down the line. my brother had a wireless one and he acted like you had to charge it until the light goes out and unplugging it too late or too soon would do serious damage to it. not sure if that's true or he was just overly worried over nothing, but i'd rather just have a corded that will likely last longer without any major problems.
i just ordered mine from there too, new for $160, it should be here in 2 or 3 days based off of some of the reviews i've read. never thought i'd be excited to get a vacuum cleaner but i can't wait for this one to come.
Great review, thanks! I learned a few new things from you but I still have a question. You know when you step on the wand release button, and the long tube is released. Is there a button or way to release the handle so it will lay down flatter for vacuuming? I end up using the foot release button, then lowering the handle down, and then pushing on the tube till I hear the click so the handle is secure to the vacuum. I love this vacuum....I needed something like this to daily remove all the dog hair on the rugs & hard wood floor from my 3 white labs......they shed A LOT!!!!
The issue is the hair......newer models have a self cleaning roller....which is the ones I prefer.....would like to see that test , if you don't mind.....regular vs self cleaning heads
@@JustADad I'm waiting for my vac to give so that I can get the self cleaning head but the damn thing keeps turning on...had over 1 1/2 years and I have 2 dogs and use daily
Let me just say, the accessibility of the belt is not what you think!! Believe me! My beater brush just quit on me the other day. I thought the possibility of changing out my belt might help. So I tried to take it apart and quickly realized I had to take the housing apart which means you have about 12 screws to take out. And here was the big problem!! It almost drove me NUTS!!!! There are about 3-4 different size, star shaped screw heads to contend with. Who has all of those specialized screwdriver bits?? At first I thought some of the screws were stripped but then realized they were a different type altogether!! Oh my gosh , I’m getting g a little anxious just thinking about it again!! All that to say, don’t think you can easily fix something on a shark vacuum. They are mad difficult to get into on purpose. I was saying I would never buy another shark because of it. But after reviewing soooo many vacuums I’ve decided to buy another Shark Rocket. It’s just the best value for the money. Btw, mine lasted 5 years with no issues. So I figure it’s just time to buy a new one. Now if they would just stop trying to “improve” them. Thank you so much for your thorough review. I didn’t know I could store mine like that. However I do have a wall mount where I just hang mine up.
Best review I have seen. I have had mine for about 2yrs and didn’t know it had some of the features. Thanks!
Great to hear!

Good review😊 Thank you. Answered the questions I had about this stick vacuum before I purchased.
Great to hear!
Just bought one. Great video! Thank you. 😊
Best vacuum ever! The only feature I would add is the option to stop the roller I’m spinning when vacuuming different carpet fibers.
Just bought one. Great review. Thanks.

Shark just released their first carpet cleaner yesterday hope there be a review in the future.
Yep!!! i just bought it!!!! so excited!!!!
I attached the credits tool to the king wand. Now I cannot release the crevice tool. Any advice?
How do I removed the wedge attachment from the wand?
Can it be used for curtains and cleaning along the corners of rooms for cobwebs?
yes absolutely!

Great suggestion!

Can the motorhead be directly connected to the power brush head?
Yes
@@JustADad That's great for vacuuming carpeted stairs.
I just ordered one from a discount website, i paid only 62 USD, a red one just like the one in the video.
Anyone know how to change the lower hose on the hv382??
It doesn't have Hepa filter??
Thanks
Welcome
The green light is on, not sure why ? Can you help me ?
green light means the brush is Turing and the proper speed and is not clogged or jammed. it will turn red when it jammed.
how much does the upper part weigh by itself?
I would say maybe 2-3 pounds on these types
@@mikenyc1589ok, thank you.
Thanks Mike
