After watching I purchased one on sale at Walmart and I love it. I was able to clean the cat tree and their shelves and easily all along the edges of the walls and the carpet is so clean. We have 3 pets and 2 are long haired and shed every where and my old vacuum was so heavy and the accessories were so inconvenient and this one cleaned my whole house easily and it wasn't such a work out. This model is on sale for $129.99 (at Costco) and your review convinced me it would be a worthwhile purchase. Thank you for the review. Update: After 9 months, this little vacuum is still going strong. Great buy.
I would not buy any shark vacuums, for they are not easy to clean or replace failing parts. One more problem is its filter which again is not easy to replace. Note that this vacuum has two roller, one of which, mostly the front roller, is useless.
Just got mine. I clean for a living, new construction. Used Kirby to Dyson Oreck....changed with the corded sticks. Have green pet, orange and this. Given up on the other, even shark upright. These suckers really get it. I will use a beater vaclike old kirby to 1st clean a carpet due to fibers all over but with head off it edges great and hard floors gets wires, screws, drywall chunks, etc...On amazon you get great new filter deals. Pop in a new one wash the other. Now, long use the unit gets heavy but I added a strap to take weight and use arm to push back and forth. Love these sharks
The best vacuum I’ve used in my 32 years of house cleaning. Love that it it lite weight and picks up Everything in site. Way to go Shark for another great vacuum 😁
Someone suggested that I purchase this product. I like vacuums that have a strong sucking power, which this does not. The Sharp Vacuum will take up small pieces from the carpet and dust. Today I used the brush attachment on the Shark. I had to remove the wand from the base of the vacuum. It wasn't hard to do, however, I felt the opening to see how much sucking power it had and it was very little. I was surprised that it was able to take the dust off of my folding doors, but it did work. I have another vacuum that has incredible sucking power that I would rather use. However, when adding an attachment to vacuum the floor the power diminishes. I miss the old Electrolux vacuums that were these cannisters that sat on the floor. They had lots of power.
I bought it at Costco for $160 to replace my 10 yr old vacuum (I hope this model goes on sale again soon so I can get a small refund). Happy with the performance and it really sucks (in a good way) compared to my old vacuum. I didn't like the fact it has to be laid down or leaned up against a wall or something when I want to pause (minor). Wish that it had more than one extra tool (crevice). One good thing is a low head so can get under most furniture, couches, etc. Also, small clumps of hair end up on the floor/rug and not in the dust bin. The dust bin volume is small but that was okay. I was surprised about how much dust it picked up and I guess points out the fact that I really needed a new vacuum. Thanks for a good review. Overall happy with my purchase.
I had a shark upright like this, but it was blue. It was the love of my life. I used it all the time for years and years until it just got so dirty. I’m trying to find a new one. I don’t know why they come in different colors. And I have trouble finding one that is corded, because if I had a dead battery, I would freak out!
I just bought one today. I like it, but maybe because my other one didn’t work.What I don’t like is the stick has to rest on the floor,it doesn’t stand upright on its own.

The only problem it don’t stand the stick vac itself either you have to lay on the floor or slanting position but all in all it does wrk even pets or human hair it goes thru the canister it doesn’t roll around thr brushes
Shark does make an optional wall mount for this series of vacuum cleaners. Since I had an old one, I actually had the wall mount already. But I do agree with you you need to either get the original shark wall mount, or an aftermarket mount of some sort to hang it. I have both. I’ll link some in the comment below tomorrow morning. If this is the one that came from Costco the model # is UV580 -Shark Performance Ultralight corded stic vacuum with DuoClean Brushroll (the description on the box doesn't say rollerS) just says Brushroll guess thats where the word Duoclean applies. Costco has them on sale for $149.99 (reg. $189.99) sale dates:Nov.22-Dec. 24, 2021. Hope this helps!
Does this vacuum have lights? Either on the hand piece or the floor piece? My current shark (that just broke😕), is the advanced dual clean which I don’t think they sell anymore and it has lights on both.. I’ve become spoiled with that and can’t seem to find a vacuum that has that feature.
Hi Stacey, I know my Shark VacMop pro has headlights on it, so I know what you mean by being spoiled. As for this one... yes, it does as well. I just went to double check, they are on the bottom brush area (Not the upper handle etc) but closest to the ground. It has 6 bright LED lights. :) Good luck in picking a replacement one! Thank you for the reply! I ended up getting the vertex cordless. Granted, no lights when I use it without the stick (like my old corded shark), but I have to say I absolutely love it! It works great and going cordless makes me feel so liberated! LOL
Great question. Every week I use it on bare floor, a low-pile rug (thin rug) and high-pile (thick carpets in my bedrooms) Surprisingly it works great on all of them!

This really is a piece of garbage it's SO LOUD and has a high pitch squeal! I returned it after only a day... cannot take all that noise!
