This just got sampled in Playboi Carti's song "f33l lik3 dyin", crazy to hear Bon Iver and Playboi Carti together
When I heard it for the first time I was souped
Kanye did it

Album was beautiful all these people trippin
@@zachhodge6708 ikr. They were too quick too judge. The first song in the album isn’t always great. Feel bad for them on what they are missing out in
bruh hearing this in a carti album threw my head for a loop, sick sample

Every new song he releases makes me feel an emotion I didn't know I had.
James Pugh its called feeling deep good
wow, i wondered what you have named them or maybe these mysteriously awoken emotions will remain unnamed.
Damn man I wait for every new song as like my life branching into more complexity.
I dont know how he does it! Each one is so addictive❤❤❤
So i guess you bon'd your Iver
Blessed be the vocals of James Blake!

LITERALLY
This is not Let’s Argue.
who is. k k ?
I was always wondering who this "Justin Vernon" character was, and Bon Iver I knew was just a red herring....
this was a great sample on whole lotta red so beautiful
I find that with most Bon Iver songs I have to listen at least a dozen times before I can even wrap my mind around it . The dude is so absurdly innovative and talented it's like I literally have to catch up to his songs.
yeah took me like 10 listens of 22 a million album to enjoy it.. crazy
Wow this is the most accurate comment ever xD I'm always a little confused when I first listen to them and yet I love them all instantly - just takes a bit to process all the magic
Might I suggest listening to Alexander Panos, his music can't really even be categorized as music, they're more like cinematically sonic scores, sort of like this stuff but faster-paced :)
That's well-said, Jacob! I wasn't really on board with 22 a million on the first listen, but I kept coming back and now I'm of the opinion is a masterpiece! It's like... the music has to teach you how to approach it, before you can fully engage with it.
YOOOO I CANT BELIEVE CARTI SAMPLED YOU THAT SHIT WAS GOOD
right n ppl been talking shi. it’s gonna be in ppl’s music rotation soon .

This song is a painting in a form of music.
These armchair poets are in a competition to post the cringiest comment they can think of.
This is one of the most soul-touching tracks they've released in a long time. Just a reason to love life today.
This is the right comment. This soul-touching song makes me love life.
Every one of these new Bon Iver tracks makes me feel like a medieval peasant listening to synthesiser. Like what is this alien witchcraft.
lmfao amazing comment and so accurate

I was driving earlier today when I got the notification that the new Bon Iver album released, I immediately with no hesitation hit play. This song began to play and I wasn’t feeling it at first but when your vocals came in and said “I stood a little while within it” I lost it, my emotions went crazy and I couldn’t stop crying, I have no clue why that hit so hard but it did and I love you for it.
That's literally the best moment on the album. Still cannot listen without goosebumps.
I probably almost never understand their lyrics but I still somehow connect with them. ‘I stood a little while within it’. It hits hard. Makes me feel something beyond normal
The first melody triggers nostalgia
THIS song is so beautiful #WLR
This album is going to be something else for sure. It feels mystical, the organical next level from 22, a million.
To me it's a perfect culmination of all the styles from previous albums, but as I found Bon Iver through 221M I absolutely love the evolution of their electronic sound in this. I got tattoos for that now thinking of one for this as love it even more.
so far ahead of most music today
How does it feel commenting before Carti fans came in here
Agreed! It’s probably because he is from another lifetime like I am

The more I listen to this, the more I feel it in my god damn soul. Praise Jesus
Tate Ellison Nah praise a beautiful soul that spreads love because religion is evil, throughout history they rarely spread love and it’s all a gimmick to fit their agenda, listen to Sh’Diah and I hope you praise Jesus in a way they serves to better mankind. Have a wonderful day and remember that the real high power should be love.
Listening to this with headphones makes me feel emotions I forgot exsisted.
Bon Iver forever holds a nostalgic space in my mind. Years and years of connection to this music. Thank you.

I'm not stuck in this noisy burger King in china…I'm someplace special
omg a fellow I-use-Bon-Iver-to-cope-with-crowded-and-noisy-environments-in-China person
It was always the train stations for me
Which Burger King? The one at wu jiao chang? Bon Iver was great to escape the noise, the shoulder bumping, it paints each city in a new light.
哈哈 Try Taiwan, y'all.
I live in Shanghai and had Burger King yesterday. Are we best friends?
Yes it’s quite noisy here in Shenzhen..
I like how he progresses the themes of his music over multiple albums goes from a questioning and doubt towards these great realizations of acceptance and love, and from a darker perspective on life and the universe to a optimistic one. With all the crap coming out in modern day music, it’s great to see an artist that actually pushes the boundaries and creates art and without caring about public reception. This is how music is meant to be and how timeless pieces are born.
@LFT2WRT 22 a million slaps forever.4 years later and im barely starting to understand. Tbe veil is wiped clear
I hate seeing comments like this.It sounds similar to the typical uggh the music on the billboard suckkks I only listen to "obscure" music cause I'm "intellectually superior". Btw there are plenty and I say plenty of artists that are completely devoted to the artistic process and not towards public reception. And they aren't even hard to find. Music doesn't "have" to be a certain way. It's a multitude of things to different people. Maybe we should stop judging ppl on things as trivial as taste in music cause music means different things to different people.
Sorry I called modern music crap I guess. I was just sick of Old Town Road a year ago when I wrote this comment. And Bon Iver is not that obscure. Idk why you went through so much effort to invalidate my opinion. Next time just drop a dislike and move on.
@LFT2WRT
Definitely For Emma-Forever Ago. It’s just so soothing and I’m biased to acoustic folk sound. I like all of them though. 45 is a cool song.
Hope you are doing well
My Brain doesn't know what to do with his sounds. Brilliance.
A touch of Bonobo in this Video. Favourite track on the album by far and clever title.

The highest power is love and this beautiful gem reminds us we should love each other and work together. Unfortunately we live in such a negative world these days but that doesn’t mean change isn’t coming, it takes time and a generational shift for things to come full swing, you’ll see. Love and peace to anyone and especially those who can appreciate such beautiful unique music, you’ve got a special ear and a beautiful soul.
The music you guys have made as Bon Iver has really brought me so much joy throughout these last 5 years of my life, and I cant really thank you enough for that. The passion and soul that bleeds through your sound resparks this jovial sensation I lost long ago during my transitions from an impenitent young boy into a somber, bitter man. The art you guys create gives me this euphoric peace when i hear it, its like you can capture the sensation of biting into a juicy apple and transcribe the exact feeling into sound. The music you create almost gives me this sense of gratitude; like it better exposes me to the wonders of being human; all of life's ups AND downs. There's not too many other artists I like that can really capture their humanity and express it so vividly, so I thank you for all you've given me with these records.
With much love...

This song has made me bawl my eyes out lately. Bon Iver makes me feel like its okay to be myself with creative expression.
This film clips for i,i are just........phenomenal, the setting, the dancing it works so well.
This is all you need. This song speaks to me in strange ways. I made stupid choices these last two years, and it wasn’t until a few months ago I let go of my stupidity. There’s beauty in brokenness. Beauty in a fresh start. And this song reminds me of all that beauty. Now my possibilities are endless.
