You know: It annoys me how the devs didn’t sample "The Upside Down" into The Demogorgon’s official terror radius. Like, that’s a very iconic score in the series. Just like with The Demogorgon, it would’ve been neat to hear a sample of "Betrayal" in Pyramid Head’s terror radius. Its just too good to be left out.
I agree ! But I think it's more of a copyright problem actually... They done the chase theme for Myers based on the original... they could have done it for demo if they wanted to. I don't know.
For PH tho it's totally intentional since it's been co-written with Yamaoka !

I think they do a little bit it's barely there and it's almost unnoticeable but everytime I get chased by him I swear I hear a little bit of this song Somewhere I can't remember where the
One of the best designed killers in Dead by Daylight. Everyone who owns him, keep playing him so new players can at least experience one side of this excellent killer.
Also, I LOVE that art of the armored Demogorgon skin from ingame. It's so metal.
I try to, but players teabagging after every missed shred makes me go back to gen defense blight
@@ponglenis9273 i main demo and it just useally takes time to nail and predict shreds but I actually tend to use shred in tight spots where survivors can’t run and to break pallets
The original soundtrack for stranger things was so good I was surprised they didn’t use one of the tracks as a base. This took a great ost and implemented it perfectly to fit the game. Very impressive! I also really like the idea of the “escape chase momentum” - good idea.

@@JonRob Deffently. I love it, that the Duffer Brothers had in mind to make the demogorgon and its theme like the great white "Bruce" from Jaws. You hear the theme, and the monster, but you really only get to see It in the Finale, like in the movie.
At this point, I’m more than WILLING to riot at the Dev’s door to get you hired. I’m getting sick of listening to these masterpieces and then entering DBD to hear something that could be a whole lot better.

The official Demogorgon chase music was already the best in the game, but this cranks it up to a whole nother level.

I don't know how but your songs aways have the perfect "sound" to them, so you can actually *feel* what ur listening to, like Mayers "ding ding ding" sound, ghostface's theme where also is scary but has like the "half comedian movie music in it", the nurse's where you can hear the "beep" sound of the life keeper while performing a surgery and now the demo's where you really hear the stranger things aesthetic song so you can actually know with closed eyes that your being chase by him.
That's actually the hardest part Noel ! Choosing an art direction, instruments and type of sounds, so I can bring my ideas to life for a character !

This is honestly really good, but I also just can't get enough of the dynamic way that this chase music is layered, having not only a buildup, but also an escape chase momentum, which I LOVE! I think the actual DBD Chase music would greatly benefit from these little extra tidbits to really mix that music into the gameplay more.

The chase music section felt like it lacked impact and some urgency in the first half, although it did send super cool. Overall I love the sampling of the Upside Down motif. Seriously awesome work!
For the longest time, I thought your Plague custom chase music was the best piece you've ever made. But today... You've changed that opinion. This is definitely your best work yet, incredible work. I absolutely love the terror radius and had always considered the "The Upside Down" song from the Stranger Things OST to work really well as a terror radius melody. And your work has now proven that once and for all. This could 100% work and I wish they had considered this idea, cause it is an infinitely better terror radius than the one we have in-game now. The chase music itself, I also really enjoy. I think that the "chase escape momentum" is a really nice touch and would sound really nice after breaking line of sight while the killer is breaking a pallet or wall for example. Absolutely stellar job, please never quit making music.

Okay, I think I may have figured it out...they can't implement your music into the game because the killer would literally be constantly getting rushed by all four survivors just to hear the music and no generators would ever get done. It would literally break the game!
I love how in the chase music it grows unlike most chase music just like in the song the upside down it intensifies over time and that back into chase beat brooo! Man you are something else bro.

demo terror radius is so good, it shows off a side of DBD that isnt really explored, most of the killers are... you know, man with beartraps, woman who teleports, very angry big club man, chainsaw man 1, chainsaw man 2 hot 2 handle edition, vommy mommy, man with gun
The cosmic sounding nature of it is so, its almost distracting, playing against him and hearing it in the distance. It's in this song too, it's hard to comprehend exactly what this monster is, it doesnt show mercy or have and sense of what its doing besides, being a animal, you know?

2:43 slapped so hard, that should definitely be the main chase music segment if this were to ever be put into the game! I really did the exit chase momentum carrying over. There should be a different theme for approaching terror radius and fading terror radius.
Momentum could be a nice idea but pretty tricky to set up haha ! Thank you mate, better late than never ;D
This is EXACTLY how I wanted the Demo's music to be like in game. I like his music now, but I would MUCH prefer it if they used The Upside Down in his music tbh

The unique endgame collapse music is such a great idea, that would be so cool to have in the actual game.
This music is absolutely amazing! It really captures the intensity when it reaches the climax and the buildup and use of the themes from the actual show is great! 10/10

Also, I really dig the idea of more Killer specific music variations for certain types of situations aside from Killer proximity and chase. Endgame collapse, dying state, injured state, perhaps but probably less on the hook stages, definitely the endgame collapse though. Generally, sound design in a game such as Dead by Daylight is extreeemely important. I find most Killers lack some sound effect additions! Just like you can hear the Demogorgons audible yells and grunts in the distance, something aesthetically pleasing to every unique Killer. Bums me out that they reworked Freddy the way the did, in an attempt to balance a character they broke him aesthetically. It's not a Dream Demon anymore when you can see him even though you are awake! Gameplay or not, they should have stuck with aesthetics, it's what makes it horror game after all. Imagine if they would break more boundaries on each Killer.
Soooo much... Im glad they kind of made a step in that direction with Legion's addons that adds variations to the chase music ... We'll see how they ll manage the future of the game !

The escape momentum is an interesting idea, is it for when you escape the chase but the demo is still nearby? And then leading into the Back to Chase? That's such a cool suggestion; even though you've gained distance you haven't necessarily gotten away.
Yeah exactly ! I thought it would be a cool concept, like 1-10 seconds after a chase when you're still in the terror radius.

I wish the Demogorgon had much more unique features, like during endgame collapse it flickers in and out of the Upside Down with that Endgame Collapse music. kinda like Freddy's Dream World. I know it's not canon, but it'd be super cool.

As a stranger things fan and a demogorgon main, this fits it better than it’s in game chase music. This has that since of uneasiness that you get thanks to the upside down.
Was really fun to recreate the Upside down theme. I've learnt a lot about synth by doing this, there are so much subtle random detuning.. Pure genius.
