I used my zoom last weekend for the first time and it was awesome. It packs small and light, and it slept great. Thanks for always pointing me in the right direction.
I bought a self inflating for my first pad and used it once it was awful. I have a Nemo roamer xl which they claim is self inflating but it's not really.. It inflates maybe 1/2 way. It's massive but extremely comfy. I used to take it on my vstrom but it's just my truck camping pad now, it would take up an entire 48l pannier lol, when I was having back issues it was worth it
Oh yeah, NEMO and a few others have a super thick pad with foam inside that pack massive but work great for car camping. I know people that sacrifice their space for those because they like them so much.
@@MotoCampNerd year, the roamer is a hybrid of sorts, but you need to really want that extra comfort lol. I have the q core deluxe and I get by just fine with it now
Does the flextail pump work for all of these big Agnes sleeping pads? I’d like to purchase one to replace my self inflating pad but would like one that’s compatible with that pump.. thank you!
The Flextail Zero pump has the adapters for each specific brand of pad. The other Flextail models have generic shaped adapters and most don't fit the Big Agnes pads larger opening. Which pump and pad do you have currently?
I do not currently own a pump yet (looking to buy one) and I have a thermarest self inflating pad bought from dicks sporting goods which I am not a fan of bc it packs very big and only 1/4 inch thick.. looking at buying a pad from you.. I currently have the giant loop siskiyou saddle bags which have limited space
