- Hey guys, hope you enjoy this tutorial on how to use an old book cover to make a vintage/faux leather effect junk journal cover.
This was based off of an idea I see on Facebook by Royal Funky Junque. Go check her out. Just found her yesterday but so far loving what I'm seeing.
This is so easy to do and doesn't take long at all.
The gothic JJ is coming along. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates. 😁
I think this went epically RIGHT!!!! I am saving this to my library! I am seriously considering using this for my collaboration journal for the fall! It is beautiful! Oh you did an amazing job. Thank you for making this. It's gorgeous!
Wow. This looks awesome
This came out beautiful 😊
That is so spectacular!!
Thank you so much. X
Love it! 🥰
This is going to be fantastic and I can’t wait to see the finished journal!!
Oh, little tip, if you pre-mix your PVA with 5:1 glue to water, you can just paint it on without needing to keep applying water to spread it 🖤 x
Thanks for the tip. I will do this in the future. I just didn't want to soak it. But good to know. Lol.
But glad you enjoyed the video. 😁 it came out great if I do say so myself. Haha. 🖤Xx
@@waywardwitchcraftsandbooks it just loosens the glue to make it easier to spread without it being watery, it was a game changer for me lol!!
It did, it looks bloody gorgeous honey! 😍 x
What is PVA glue? I use Art Glitter Glue would that work???
Hi, it's just white school glue. We call it PVA in the UK, no idea what the letters actually stand for 😂😂 and yeah if you just water it down a bit it should work. Maybe test a small piece on a piece of scrap cardboard first to see if it has the desired results. 😁 X
