Chiefs got a gem in this guy. Hopefully he stays healthy.
Chiefs get a high upside, developmental prospect in this guy. Hopefully he stays healthy. --Fixed it for you.
@@fantasypolicelol you loser
He is electric. A world class athlete. I am sure Reid and company are in the lab cooking up some plays for him.
What are these Welsh boys getting in the valleys? LRZ and before him Bale. Freak athletes.
Physical education is much harder here. Rugby is drilled into you from 11 years old, often younger.
They are great for Wales 🏴🏴
Honestly this man is going to be great
Thank you Wales for bringing this player to KC! I hope y’all know you are warmly WELCOMED into the Chiefs Kingdom!
I hope he succeeds, but at the same time I hope he doesn't so we can get him back playing rugby again.
It's not just Wales, the whole rugby world wants to see this guy light it up. He definitely has the skills.
That first route was so clean
People who do not understand top level rugby do not realise the players (especially the backs) are drilled to run intricate support patterns when attacking so this will be bread and butter to him.
@@konradyearwood5845 - This is against IMG Academy athletes, a Florida high school focused on prep development.
The routes are VERY clean for a player just starting to pick up the game. It is still a very poor indicator of the competition he will face.
There are levels to this:
1. High school competition
2. Elite high school competition
3. College completion
4. Elite college completion
5. National Football League
He's somewhere between 1 and 2 in this video, at best 2.
Miss him in rugby 🏴 but hope he does well do wales proud ❤️
Keep going Cymro. I want to see that dragon on the back of your helmet when you make it. 🏴
This kid is built different!!! I can't wait!
He's working for a spot. Rugby boys are built different.
Pretty classy of the league that the current Champions are the ones gonna take the risk.
As a springbok supporter and someone that has played provincial rugby for Western Province growing up, Rees-Zammit is a world class rugby player and I'm sure he will be great in the NFL.
I really do hope this guy is successful
Same
Oh he will be.
Right team for Rees. Run them screens and Punt returns.
imagine this, he was top tier rugby, and nobody was blocking his runs on offence, now people will be blocking for his pathing. Hes used to face palming people, used to hard tackles with no armour and no gloves. hes got his chance, now he has to make the most of the time on the pitch, no excuses.
You're point about blocking is going to be challenging because he is going to have to learn how to read blocks, defenders, and make cuts. Not just learn, but excel at the PROFESSIONAL level. Being fast isn't enough. Plenty of fast ppl have failed miserably in pro football.
@@tv26889 I’m just excited for him because he’s used to running through people in rugby but that’s all the fun, seeing him try.
@@tv26889 he may fail however probably make more money in the NFL for a year or 2 than he will in his entire rugby career
@@MrModerate_kane He's also a bit small for his height. he's 6 '3' 209 pounds. 6 '3' player should be 225-235. DK Metcalf is also a receiver and he's 6'4' 235, all muscle. I'm 5'11' and my walk around weight is 205-210 with visible abs.
@@tv26889that's not true. DK is huge for a wr. This guy is actually the exact same size as the guy everyone is calling the prototype of this draft in Marvin Harrison Jr
He boutta get a ring 😤
6'3" moving that well is scary
He 6’3???
If he plays like this during training camp against starting defensive backs, he'll be benched. Playing against a bunch of scrubs in this vid.
@@tv26889go and watch cartoons
@tonyverras2688 most likely but he's still very young & used to big competition. Europeans are very agile too. Also there's a trend of foreign athletes taking over American sports so I think this could be the beginning of the influx of foreign talent into the NFL.
@tonyverras2688 what you have to remember is this video is 2 weeks into his NFL training. 2 weeks!
If he can prove himself and be an ace on special teams on kick return/cover and punt team. He could have a shot in the league.
Defence will have their hands full with this guy
Rooting for this kid so much. Not a chiefs fan but really excited to see him succeed
He has mental toughness.
He’s a great athlete in a league full of freak athletes. I hope Reid finds a way to utilize this man’s unique skill set.
I'm seeing a lot of technique for a rookie. This guy is going to get open.
International Rugby produces plenty like him..NZ and South Africa have a conveyor belt!
Explosive! Stay strong my friend!
He is a powerhouse!!!
Dude that leg work and his smooth, compact run are amazing
Bet you wouldn't say that if u weren't a chiefs fan
my goodness that juke move. mahomes gonna be happy 🤩🤩🤩
I suspect a lot of safeties will be calling him Rees Goddammit!
Saw his press conference and thought dude was tiny.....WRONG ... he's a beast, hope he makes the roster this year.
How can you not like this guy !!
LETS GO CHIEFS!!! 3PEAT!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🏆🏆🏆🏆
Won’t happen
@@svnti1239We’re not talking about you losing your virginity.
He's got skills. Hope he makes the roster.
Rugby platers are already proven physically, he's just got to transmit his strength and speed to american football.
He could be a NFL great!
Chief 💪 Louis Zammit. Let's Go! 😡 Chiefs opponents "foes" are the world's BEST 😡 you must be ready come game time Go! Chiefs
Big Time Football 🏈 Player here ...🥃
You go Louis prove the haters wrong 👊🏼
Where are the haters? Not seen any. 🤫
@@speak_your_truth. Haven't seen a single hater anywhere, but okay
Everyone in Wales was devastated when the news broke, but everyone also understands why he made the switch, it is a huge opportunity.
@@IPS0125 Why are you replying this to me and not liamd?
My sleeper in Fantasy this year
The NFL won’t know what’s hit them if the lad gets a shot……….. 🏴
His leg work is clean...
No one gonna mention that he broke that dudes ankles lol. Had his legs tangled lol.
Vamos Luis!!
Thas that ruby dude😂😂😂😂😂
The chiefs just signed him
Wales…thank you!!
Need to bring some international talent into the game. But it wouldn't be called "America's game" anymore am I right?
The defending back to back champs did just so
i think rb/fb/te is his position
He is a RB on the Chiefs roster
Why are the Welsh so fast, Gareth bale was straight fast enough to be in the olympics, now this guy?
Lol big tough speedy receiver he will compliment rashee well
Rashee questions are will he play ball in 2024 my gut says with pole evidence his confession no 2024 for Rashee Gooddell got to his this one hard life is to short and valuable for this to to slide by 😊
He is a RB on the roster
Brudddddda keep going put us on the nfl map
He’s a lil stiff when running but seems like he’s got potential
Lol if he's stiff then I hope I can be a stiff runner one day.......
@@jase6709dudes seen a lot of stiffies, knows what he’s talking about.
The Maltese missle ❤
They ain’t jamming him at all lol he runs strong but smooth at the same time.
I still think the chiefs need this guy in the wr room vs the rb room 🤷🏼♂️
Best of luck!
Dude seems like a faster travis kelce
He Can be solid
I have a feeling this young gentleman is gonna do some serious damage.. Lets Go Chiefs!!
Ymlaen a ti Zammo!
Think RED! Think Super Bowls!!!
Da iawn !!!
Is he gonna make the roster?
Something tells me this guy is going to ball what ever capacity he plays roll troop roll😂😂😂😂
Welcome to Chiefs Kingdom!!!
He smoked all them boys haha 😂
Wes welker route running
Creates separation and breaks ankles. Alright let the people doubt Andy will turn this guy into a pro bowler(don't y'all miss when the Pro Bowl was an actual achievement?)
Nfl gonna learn lol lrz not a normal human
This is gonna create a whole new system to recruit rugby players into the NFL just watch😂😂
C'mon matey!!
Is he the second coming of Kelce?? 👀
The chiefs signed him. No disrespect to NFL fans, but the way Reid will utilise this guy will change NFL if it works. Youre gonna see an increase in laterals
Why do his arms look so short?
WhT level of talent was he going agianst here?
You just wait for the behind the back "offloads" etc for lateral passes he'll change the way you americans view football you'll see ;)
Rugby players are just better US footballer that they are themselves 😅
Why is wearing pads from the 90s?
😂😂😂 High school kids ,seriously, I wish him the best . He is fast, has the frame, we know he’s physical but hear me out lads it’s a great stunt to get the Euro from all of Europe 😂😂The White Knight LRZ will be Dumpster Juice, but go ball kid use my hate to elevate 😢
Are the opposition in the 1v1 college player's?
And it's his first few months playing the sport ,ur point ?
@@Poweroftouch it is a question asking if they are college players?? I have no clue as I don't follow American football. Your point???
They are high school players
@@Poweroftouchsomeone touched a nerve there 😂
They’re high school players. IMG is a prep academy in Florida that trains some of the best high school talent from around the US in all sports. Many of them go on to play D1, but it is a big step away from actual NFL players.
And americans think we can't play nfl aha
Welcome to Chiefs Kingdom
He looks more a like a tight end.
KCCCCCCCC
Go Chiefs !!!
He runs funny
Still faster than you 🤣
@@andrew-bu7bx yes, but compared to nfl players he looks funny running in equipment
@@24reyeserya he doesn't move like an athlete. He might have a fast 40 time but the NFL isn't track and field lol. It's the best athletes in the world. He needs years of training, right now most NFL offensive lineman move smoother. He would have been a D1 player had he been born in the states. Some dumb team will put them on a practice squad for PR though
@@24reyeserIt’s because he has short choppy strides and his route breaks are kind of stiff. I think running back would actually be a better position for him than wide receiver. The physicality from playing rugby should translate really well into breaking tackles as a power back. And I think it’s easier to take a handoff and let his natural ball-carrying skills come out compared to developing the elite hands/route-running needed to be an NFL WR. When he catches he still looks like he’s body catching a bit and is not fully extending his arms and attacking the ball which makes his catch radius smaller. Obviously he’s only been practicing a few months and will only get better but I think he could transition faster if he tried a new position. RB or even strong safety if he wanted to play defense seem like a better fit imo.
Needs to be a ST gunner/kick returner. @@DPMixing
Louis wasn't even at top tier level in rugby in terms of being deceptive. This is would be embarrassing for NFL, as a rugby fan from the gretest rugby nation, im backing Reece.
Clearly know nothing about NFL
@@bbull26knows fk all about rugby too. Can’t even get his name right.
Of course the Chiefs
This lad never played a snap and is breaking ankles. Simple proof rugby is better
Clearly don’t know NFL. He won’t be breaking any pros ankles that’s for sure. Those db’s are clearly college kids.He probably won’t even get past practise squad. It’s amazing how many people believe the PR hype, a team will just take him, see if they can teach him up in a few years and then drop him. It’s just great publicity for the NFL and the teams and for Louis , enjoy it while it lasts. There are so many players if his size and speed and already have experience and the skills and played in front of 100k crowds, just waiting to be drafted. You rugby boys just think a player can walk in with speed and size lol and still trying to compare two totally different sports.
@bbull26 those aren't college dbs
Won't get out of the practice squad.. unfortunately placed outside top 30 in receivers
Was tied 15th wide receivers 40 yard dash. Outside top 30 only in the 2 jump tests. Irrelevant stats otherwise the superbowl champs wouldn't have signed him. Clearly they feel he has potential and can progress. His contract is 3 years.
#CHIEFSSSSSSSSSS
We found our Puka
He could use better foot work
I'm sure he's going to take your advice 😅
He runs like a soccer player 😂
The footwork idk🤔
Well, the nfl is abt to know how soccer players run😂😂😂
Trash dbs
Also watch an NFL coward playing Rugby League or Rugby Union with no armour, no helmet... ...IF you can find one!
He too stiff
Bro all you sound pretty silly saying this guy has a shot smh I can’t wait for this to all be over
You sound pretty silly say he doesn’t have a shot.
@@hashbrown4278 he doesn’t you really believe a guy whose never read coverages or a defense for that matter to come in a make a difference in the nfl. Let alone he has straight line speed doesn’t even know how to read blocks nor set up blocks. Can he even jump cut? There’s to much for him to learn in a matter of 6 months to have a chance. Football isn’t learned over night. You can be a work out warrior but I highly doubt any of his rugby skills will translate to the nfl. He won’t be able to even pick up terminology it will all be foreign to him trust me especially how complex a nfl playbook is
@@user-ek1ql3eu8gexactly 100%, all these people especially the rugby fans think you can just walk into NFL with speed and size. I am Welsh , a rugby and NFL fan, played both sports and I ain’t buying the hype of all this.
This comment will not age well. The Chiefs wouldn't waste a roster spot on the guy if they thought he had no chance in this league. Dude is a superior athlete. Track stars with less athleticism have made careers in the NFL. Not saying the transition isn't going to be hard, but you are just hating if you think this kid doesn't have a chance. And you are talking like the playbook it trigonometry. It's not that hard if you have half a brain.
He hss got 6 mths to make it he has a three year contract
So many better receivers in the U.K. but you decided to go with someone with no knowledge of the game just because he played pro rugby!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He’s literally an elite international athlete and he loves the sport. The receivers you’re talking about couldn’t dream of competing with NFL athletes
All of whom run 5.1 forties!
You know nothing John Snow 😂🤫🤡
@@tom.parryjonesneither can this guy 😂
this dude is a McCaffrey clone 😅
Why is he practicing against high school kids?
