I have the exact opposite problem. I've been trying to gain weight and have been eating insane amount of calories for me. I was 130 at 6'4 2 years ago, and now I'm 170. Meaning to lose or gain weight, you have to just set a goal and keep at it even if you don't see results right away.

That's one thing I can sympathize with bigger people on. I'm also really skinny and I just...hate "overeating". I eat good, but I don't typically get over 1500 cals a day. It's really hard. I can imagine bigger people go through the same thing but in the opposite way.

Weight loss isn’t easy. But sticking with it gives results. I learned that I had to stop feeling bad for myself and try. Overcoming an addiction to food is difficult especially when you like to cook.

We are attracted to women who have good genetics for reproduction. Those with poor health appearances have a perceived deceased ability to conceive. I.E. a woman that has polycystic ovarian syndrome is overweight and has problems having kids.

I don’t think fat people realize that thin people can have major struggles with their body image and weight as well. I have always been extremely skinny, I am just built that way. I was told growing up that I “better gain weight because your body will never be able to grow and nurture children with you looking like that!” It was detrimental to my mental health. No matter what I do, I cannot gain weight.
I just had my first child 7 months ago, and I gained 70lbs during my pregnancy, and I thought that maybe I’d keep some of the weight postpartum. As soon as I had my baby, I lost weight at an incredibly fast rate and now I’m skinnier than I’ve ever been, AND I’m breastfeeding, which takes a lot of your calories and nutrients. My relationship with food was affected due to birth trauma (not an ED), and I continue to lose weight. It’s scary and I don’t like the way I look. My family won’t stop commenting on my body and how “disgusting” I look, and it’s horrible. I remember when I was trying on prom dresses my stepmom looked at me in a tight dress and said, “ew! Your hipbones are showing! We’re going to go with something else, you can’t wear a tight dress.” People think it’s okay to comment on my body because I’m thin, so therefore I won’t care? It’s harmed my self image my entire life and it’s not fair.
But fat people tend to think that we all have it easy and that being thin is a privilege. Sometimes it’s not.

Someone I know was born with a thyroid issue(her mother took fertility medicine that was recalled years later for birth defects) her body is "fat" but she eats very healthy and lives and lives an active lifestyle, so by every standard she is healthy even with a "fat" body its possible just very challanging.

That lady definitely misrepresented that statistic, but to be fair the creator of that video and the people in those comments are definitely lazy. They made it seem like it was unbelievably hard to find that statistic when you found it instantly

16:10 i think its also about them not wanting to search such a specifik thing because then you will find a whole different thing then just looking up a more neutral way of the chances of someone to ever been thin ( english is not my first language sorry for any mistakes )
