i'm always here for short books!!!! I definitely need to get memory police. i came so close to buying it and just ended up putting down for a few other things but.... I WANT IT.
YOU NEED IT !! I think you’ll really appreciate the writing and you’ll definitely be thinking about it once you finish it because it’s a type of book you need to process after it’s done
Can you make a video all about your plants one day? I am getting into plants myself and would love to see how you care for your plants and some tips and tricks 🌿💛
i would really recommend living dead girl by elizabeth scott. only has 180 pages and it's one of the most gripping books i've ever read. if stuff like rape or abuse triggers you be careful though. it's a really dark and sad book. it is fictional though by the way, and the writing style is so beautiful
Yes just the video I need, only have 4 more books on the challenge left and I’m determined for this year to be the year I defeat my goodreads goal for once. Loved the recommendations!
I've read 120 books out of my 150 books goal, however I have summer holidays in a couple of weeks so I'm confident I'll be able to smash out the remaining books as I don't have any other commitments I've the summer :)
This was a terrific recommendation video. I'm new to your channel, so I didn't know what kind of stuff you'd be recommending, so I was tentatively holding my breath, but these seem really, really interesting -- even though (though perhaps because?) they don't seem like something I'd generally read. Thanks for the thoughtful responses about each book and for the recommendations. I'm at 92 of 100 for the year and am definitely going to need to squeeze in a few shorter ones. Cheers!
okay I have been following you on Twitter for MONTHS but idk why I haven't been watching you?? I absolutely adored this video oml (also that necklace!! ahhhh)
I really LOVED listening to the audio of both The Poet X and The Fire on High, because Elizabeth brings life to the characters through audio. I can't to see what else she writes.
You got new subscriber...This is my frist video of your channel which i seen. You speak very nice and awesome english. My english is not good i also want to speak good english. And the books which you recommended I'll definitely buy and read...
Of course The Great Gatsby is in your recs 😂 I really like short books so thank you for all the recs! The Memory Police and Security sound so good, I'm definitely adding them to my TBR!!
Honestly love all your recommendations videos; in this one I'm esp interested in The memory police, sheets (I love Steven universe so much 🥰), and Rafe. I've been wanting to listen to the poet x since you've been recommending it so much, I feel I'll be picking it up soon. I totally never read the great Gatsby surprisingly, but I know so much about it 😂 I've seen parts of the movie and from the atmosphere of it I think I'd really enjoy the book.
I also highly recommend Memory Police but I'm glad I read it before seeing this video as you mention the great disappearance that occurs at the end of the book.
@@StoriesForCoffee That's surprising. We must have different versions as my book barely mentions anything of the plot. I have the version with a red spine and a woman's face on the cover.

“First they killed my father”
It’s short and a really good biography.
I was just waiting for The Great Gatsby to be on this list lol. I don't blame you. I love reading that book. I added Security and Sheets to my TBR.

That's exactly why I was looking for short books, because of my reading challenge haha. End of the year is approaching.
You mentioned A Little Life, I felt like crying instantly.
Thanks so much for your recommendations!💗 Will be looking for some short reads since I have PLENTY of long novels. 😁
I've read 60 physical books this year, an all-time high. I usually listen to audiobooks or read comic books instead.
Yes, would love some long book recs! ☺️
Whoa. All of your recommendations have me intrigued! Will definitely look into them 👏
Yay! So glad you liked it !

@@Isabella-de7kv You should be!! Audiobooks and currently not being able to work and having loads of rest days helped a lot hahaa

I recommend Nimona by Noelle Stevenson.
Yesss I love that book
YOU are breathtaking!

I mean it is on the synopsis of the novel when i looked at it in Barnes and Noble.

Is it just me or does the book “Rafe” remind me of the tv show “Melissa & Joey” ?
omg how do you get your lighting/camera like that? your video looks so aesthetically pleasing
I use three different lights (two box lights and an overhead light) for all my sit-down videos and a Canon 70d with a 1.8 lens !
