  • Well, almost lost the prop shaft again. This time I am really fixing it, maybe. Drilled the dimples out in the shaft, added too much loctite, and installed safety wire. (Questionably installed)

    How did that work out this summer? I just removed my coupler but am concerned that the "Rust Layer" that fuses the coupler and the shaft has been broken so now I worry that the coupler is over sized. Did you look into or encounter anything like that?

      No, I still had a pretty tight fit. Wasn't quite an interference/press fit but still took some tries to get it to seat.

      Mine just slipped on easy. I’m thinking I might have to get a new coupler. 😢

      @@matthewsilva8225 would have to find some tolerance specifications and get the calipers out.
