And it's dated. Bots are a non-issue and have been dealt with a while back. The few remaining dont take anything away, they actually help. they bring down prices of items that no human would enjoy farming.

Unfortunately the recent chaos and guardian changes only further encourage alt usage. I wish they let you consolidate all rewards on one character or split up to 6.
I'd love to be able to play my main significantly more than to spread my time evenly across all my alts, it still runs into the other problem of "if I'm playing my main and 1580 all these alts at also 1580 do I really have a main to begin with"

Great video again Mr Sywo! I think the players are juicing the alts cause of the gatekeep that is non-stoping and still getting bigger when u decide to hone to the new content or near. The game need to have a solution for this problem otherwise the new player or returning experience will always be the same (rejected on pf mostly of times) and they will mostly quit because they have invested precious time and materials or even real money and still can't join those groups that u mention.

Best tip ever, if u want to try a new class, just wait for another mokoko express event and do it that way. You will bring that charater for almoat nothing at a level that will make you gold if you really desire to play more of this game.
i have 6 chars, played 1-2 chars only. that's the best thing to do, you dont need to rush everything.

I just made a second character on jump start. Do I do the jump start story express then jump start mokoko and then get a second set of gear? It's difficult to understand how it works. My first character I used power pass on and the jump start express mokoko.
I was wondering if i already have 4 charachters lvl 50 should i jump to new server or should i continue playing on the same server? Im still new and my chars got all to ilvl 1250 and 1 is 1415 now with the southern pass. But i wonder if i should continue here now that i see this. Or do fresh start i just knew about jump start thing.

Alts that provide a return on investment do so via dailies (gems, stones, tradable honing materials, fate embers, etc.). It's no longer viable to take raids into consideration since the investment required to overcome gatekeeping far exceeds the gold you'll make back from the raids. I geared 10 alts for Valtan/Vykas Hard when they used to be relevant, and all that gold could have got me a page of level 9 gems on my main instead.
So should you make alts? Only for fun, and never for profit - unless you're okay with grinding dailies on a character that has minimal investment.
Playing alts for farming ie at 1490 for current patch is pure pain imo. If you can sit in lobby and get chain denied, left in limbo, or wait forever for people to join your lobby because you are min ilvl (FOR OLD CONTENT) then more power to you, but I wouldn't recommend. 1 main, and wait for juice power pass to make 2 mains, and then wait for another juice pass and make 3. Play the long game. Would recommend that strategy even if you want to swipe to juice and I've spent $$$$$ A LOT LOT.

1460 ~ 1472.5 seems to be the best range to park alts at the moment.
You save event mats to push main to 1540, and you still get to keep a bit of the argos gold.
Clown is annoying to run. So I'd rather maintain my sanity.

Ive played multiple, then 1 when i got burned out, then now back to alts just for chaos and lopang for silver and fate embers. I raid on maybe 2 chars, sometimes more if i feel like it. The ppl who play 1, i only struggled to get enough event coins to buy out shop immediately, but not impossible throughout week. Stoopz also said it best in that the investment you put into alts, you wont see a return for a long time or ever.
any ALT you push past 1540 is a ''never'' see return, trust me.. i know it and i still pushed afew chars i no longer play past 1540 some ever to 1560 and yes, they give nothing in return. just keep some alts to 1540 if you can and leave them there. or 1490 for free. and only have 1 main past 1580.
those at 1540 and 1490 can support your main NP.
even if you just do rested chaos and guardian raids a few times a week, and raid on only 2-4 you can keep up with a roster for 1 main 4-5 1540 or lower alts..without playing 12 hrs a day
@@CCCPWarHammer yep. Pushed my bard from 1565 to 1580 and literally was the worst idea ever. Parking alts at the end of goldless honing is where its at. Honing buffs eventually come anyways. No reason to push an alt and feel obligated to do content on them

another thing to consider my mokoko friends is no one will take your at level alt. Because the raids arent super easy people want insurance in the form of ilvls. No you dont NEED to be overleveled its just the vibe you get when getting denied in lobbies

People out here planing on leveling 5 alts to an enough point where they provide value for their main and what not meanwhile here's me creating only one character and being excited about collecting seeds all day

for people who are not playing in another server, there's the Aeromancer Mokoko Express and Jump Start Mokoko Express, that's how you actually get two there if you're a New or Returning player

Lost ark jump servers, time to restart playing and time to restart doing the same videos I've done last year for money
Meh, after coming back to the game for about 2 months. Working on gearing my main that was left at 1370 since last year (now I'm at 1530ish) being gatekept even though I cleared every raid at least a few times and despite telling and proving people I know mechs, trying to level up my roster because apparently idiots only care about that even though high roster level doesn't equal good player. I'm just done with the game, the raids are fun, the honing is horrible but the community is even worse.
Alt need destroy the fun of most of the people who already quited this game ..
You shouldnt. Especially not if you are a new player. Most player including the so called "content creators" burned out.
Go for one class you like, do the side stuff if you have the time and the most important thing find people to play with.
I mean how do you even make alts in this server? We don't have a 2nd powerpass and even with the story express it's not really worth to do the campaign a second time.
You only get 2 if you were new or had a new account or never claimed the 1415 pass that came out with the aeromancer.

@SmHy23 not 100% sure but definitely when the Soul eater comes out. I actually made the same mistake I never used my Aeromancer power pass but I put in my inventory on my other server. I suggest using knowledge transfers and upgrade all the honing buffs when you can and slowly boosting a alt it only cost silver up to 1490.

they didn't scam me. it's mind-boggling that anyone thought "my time will be respected". the game is built from the ground to make the whales spend money in microtransactions and skip the grind. if you don't spend money you have to suffer. my friend quit the game cause even with 3 characters it was still not enough.

Sorry but you are just remaking the same content from launch now. Also repeating the same mistake of thinking the game is actually better now. I tried to play on jumpstart server but it was so dead. Only 1 or 2 groups in finder..
For which content ? So far ive never struggled to find groups for every legion raid except Akkan of course.
I mean i see where you are coming from, but if i was new, id rather watch an up to date recycled video over a video made over a year ago
The difference is that you get free characters that are already at the ilvl to get into legion raid without months of grinding. You can get in, do fun content and be done with it or wait for the merge and keep playing if you want.
Your server must suck, I'm on Na east and there are none stop groups, or may be your play time...

Lost Ark microtransactions may be terrible, but it's not pay to win. can you get anything without paying? yes. whether you can or not is up to you. but you can. the actual definition of pay to win is to get something from the cash shop with real life money that gives you an advantage over those that don't have this, and this thing cannot be earned for free by playing the game. when you pay to buy this things and others that pay don't have it and you have an advantage = pay to win. this is the real pay to win. microtransactions like Lost Ark are pay to progress = convenient microtransactions.
It is "convenient" to microtransactions, because it gives you an advantage over those who do not pay.
Otherwise, no one would buy it.
Just because you "Technically" can achieve something, does not mean Realistically will.
This is a very common strategy that Pay2Win games deploy, it gives players the illusion that they have a chance, which is simply not true.
It is designed so that those who Pay2Win will ALWAYS be ahead. Always.

I wouldn't say it is more fun playing different characters. Smilegate went "Mages can't be male characters" and I like playing male characters. Ontop of that, a lot of the other classes I don't have fun playing. So it's a chore playing alts for me.

I've try game with new character and stuck at orange gear so i dont recommend this game for new player to progress specially in vykas you will stuck there waiting to lobby to buy bus or any player will help you 😅 jeesus this game is very worst at all for progression beat me this game is totally trash dont play this game anymore you are wasting your money and time

@@Zhoriizon313compared to a few months ago, bots are still somewhat there but you dont really see them or get too impacted by them. Ags done pretty well with keeping them down. There are newer screenshots of bots here and there. But i havent really seen many.

@@Zhoriizon313its honestly not that bad. I played alts then just 1 then back to alts. If you play just 1, its doable but event coins kinda hard to generate. If you need help with brel and are on naw, lmk. But its a lot easier now for brel and you get more mats. They made brel a joke now with the exception of g4(previously g6)
