touring farms in ND that had this issue. lots of there land they simply cant tile. they have found first thing is to stop tillage.the tillage promoted evaporation and actually brought the salts up making the problem worse. let the Kockia grow and seed high water use plants. mow them to keep them from going to seed. in several years them spots that had zero life will start to show some life!
Please i have acquired a land for residential property in a very very salty land. What materials should i use to protect the building from being affected by the salt in the land.
Hello my dear professor @ How to treat alkaline and salty soil other than agricultural gypsum because agricultural gypsum did not help us but rather harmed us. We in the Middle East region have salty and alkaline soil. I have salinity in the soil and the plants have started to die. Every time I plant, it seems that after two weeks they become weak and dry from the top and die. Please respond quickly. Thank you, my dear.

I am a curious guy would timber bamboo work as a saline irrigation solution for seasonal repair of historically ruined soils such as ancient Mesopotamia over some predictable period of time with of course the additional gypsum. It’s a dumb question I’m sure but I was actually thinking about soils damaged by fracking activity in a oil market of subsidized oil production having a negative per barrel market value.
How to drain when my field? When my field lies at lesser height than neighbor's field. And, there is no drainage point available at short distance. I have been watching your videos, they are rationale. Kindly, provide your guidance. My field is having shallow water table, to say only 4 feet deep, pH:8.5, EC: moderate to stongly saline. Crops grow in patches. We grow wheat and cotton.
Its the proximity of the water table thats the issue, if your water table is 5-30 metres down then you will have salinity issues, in addition the early colonists ripped out too many trees causing the water table to rise bring salt to the surface
hi there i am from punjab Pakistan.....do you have irrigation water and do you also have animals such as cows ...goats etc....for milk or meat production?

this guys assume that we have enough water to drainage. What about the dry lands? What are we supposed to do? We only have rain to grow our crops and thats all. (ı'm talking about wheats )
Great! Thank you so much! We are suffering from last 10 years! We call it Bangar

Are Organic Compos the solution for sour, salty soil
Can I plant bamboo in such saline soil? Why Prospis juliflora grows aggressively in such lands but not other plants?
Are Organic Compos the 4:35
Gypsum and biochar work better for salinity, sulphur also works.
How do we get rid of sour, ssalt soil in the coastal area

I am also from karachi, and i can get your land recovered.
is this a sports commentary? sounds like an intense play analysis
great video though
Plant saltbush.
And succulents to rid salt
Then plant salt tolerant trees to lower water table.
