Dimples hold air which would allow air to pass over the surface with little drag. That's why golf balls are covered with dimples. The failed restart is normal after the battery disconnect.
Will be curious what the car produces on the dyno, I have a similar setup on my C7 Corvette and recently had it dyno tuned for E85, it made 428hp/420TQ but the tuner ran it in 4th gear vs 1:1 in 6th.
Why is everyone so clueless about TB porting with the focus on the overall inside diameter? Minimizing the "throttle shaft diameter" is the MOST important part of TB porting. Katech porting reduces throttle shaft diameter WAY further to the edge. Soler throttle shafts are round...zero gain. If soler is not china, china could do a better copy of Katech.

oh no way makes sense, thank you. the golf ball analogy really puts it in perspective
Fill the holes on your golf balls with super glue...they go way further without the drag.
Nice job!!!
thank you

yes we need to test this. I think in like 2 weeks we will take it. I still want to test the car un-tuned on c100 racing fuel for science lol
you might have to do a relearn
Just for future don’t open up the TB manually it could mess up the calibration
yup. just put 5 volts to a pin
What is the stock throttle body size on the SS
87MM.
