❤❤❤Dusty❤❤❤ Forever missed. This was one of her best performances and songs recorded. She was a blessing to all of us and I am so glad we got to hear her voice throughout all of those years. Mary Isobel will never be forgotten.
Dusty was always a great and talented singer, her musical career and songs had evolved so much, which I suppose it would, considering all that happened to her throughout her varied and sometimes troublesome life. I loved her then and I still do. R.I.P. dear Dusty.
Sinead O’Connor Alison Moyet, Madeleine Bell as BACK UP SINGERS. What does that say about Dusty Springfield. And yes it was her last performance. RIP the greatest British white female singer of ALL time.
I swear Michael Ball was the last because it was december '95 Christmas special and they did a duet of "ain't no mountain high enough" she never appeared publicly after 95 I am pretty sure because she fell ill again. Also was "go easy on me " live. I seam to remember she mimed this song on the show, so I imagine she probably mimed "go easy on me" as well. I think this was her last solo live perfromance.
@@yrraboe Wikepedia said it was the Michael Ball one where she sang Aint no mountian. Plus I swear the Des O'Connor one was a lip sync if I remember rightly?
Yes ! Correct...Mary and Katie, and also as usual, Dusty herself, are the magnificent back- up singers on the album. It was recorded in Nashville USA, in 1994
This performance, arrangement and Dusty's vocals are perfection
So glad she had this success and acclaim in the end, deserved a great deal more. So lovely

Great clip! What a woman! What an incredible voice and back catalogue of hit records! R.I.P DUSTY
This song certaintly 'grows on you' - hear it a few times and it gets into your head - a little drink and you could sing it all night - great song !
You're so right.
Definitely
Absolutely ❤❤❤❤😂My go to song when I want to feel a little better
There will never be another dusty, you are so missed, god bless.
This is absolutely up there with Dusty's best. God I miss her voice.
Incredible Dusty"s voice got even better after her heyday This is just great
She was the greatest. RIP.
Gone to soon love. Very much missed. RIP angel.
Simply fabulous!
Someone created a fantasy Dusty concert that ends with this. Fantasy booking doesn't usually move me to tears, but this one....

Awesome performance from Dusty, with not a bad back-up.
great display of Dusty's ability tom mix soul and blues...
Sinead O’Connor Alison Moyet, Madeleine Bell as BACK UP SINGERS. What does that say about Dusty Springfield. And yes it was her last performance. RIP the greatest British white female singer of ALL time.
What's with the 'British white female' nonsense? No need to categorise one of the very best of all time.
Our amazing Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien...DUSTY !
THE BEST, as always.
Pure class!
Pure class.
End of!
Pure perfection
wasn't this her last tv appearance? what a way to go out.
I think she did a later one with Michael Ball.
No Des O'Connor was her last tv appearance where she performed Go Easy On Me

...this is LIVE, the others may not be.
My first love.
RIP Dusty
RIP Sinead
this reflects back to how well known singers used to jostle simply to be Dusty's backing singers., she was so highly rated by them.
Was Dusty's last tv performance with Alison Moyer and Sinead O'Connor doing backup.
No this wasn't her last tv appearance. Des O'connor show was where she performed Go Easy On Me

@@jeframp3805 as far as I know the des o Connor one was 1996. The Michael Ball appearance was December 1995
@@yrraboe ah I did not know that , was it actually live though? also was it actually filmed 1996 or broadcast then and filmed earlier?
@@jeframp3805 that I'm not sure of
Written by the great KT Oslin, who just passed away.
Someone said KT and Mary Chapin Carpenter were Dusty's backup on the studio cut. True?
Yes ! Correct...Mary and Katie, and also as usual, Dusty herself, are the magnificent back- up singers on the album.

Lovely
Wow Alison Moyet singing background!
and Sinead
feat alison moyet and sinead o'connor
+3519paolo And Madeline Bell of Blue Mink, she had done session for Dusty since the mid 1960s
Sinead. Alison. Goddesses on backing vocals.
Beautiful, great voice, the only thing that is lacking are some horns..!!
A fitting swansong
Most women (and men) begin to significantly lose vocal prowess and range by their 50s, same could not be said for Dusty.
Anyone else here after listening to Graham Norton?
