I enjoyed this video! It was so good that those guys let you work alongside them in their shop. I have installed the YSS Z series rear shocks (No gas piggy-back) and the front fork kit. The front fork kit cured the front fork dive that occurred under heavy braking. I found the rear shock to be both firmer and better at absorbing the bumps; that is, they are just better shocks than the standard ones. I also appreciated the weight savings. Initially, my wife riding pillion complained that she was being bounced off the bike over big bumps. I adjusted the rebound damping to just 6 clicks from the softest setting and that cured the problem. Our total weight is about 130Kg, but I find that the shocks feel good to me when I am riding solo (80Kg). This empirical adjustment worked well for me. I am very happy with my YSS suspension. The bike feels planted at speed and inspires confidence. The highways in Thailand have potholes and ruts etc. and I can ride with confidence.
Thank you very much for the feedback. I couldn't agree more, it has definitely planted the bike a lot more as well as absorbing the bumps much better than before. Very pleased by how much it has improved the overall riding quality! Also riding in Thailand sounds great, Would love to do some touring there!
This is a really good feedback and I couldn't agree more! I too am very much happy with the improved riding quality thanks to theYSS rear and front suspensions!
Thanks for the new video, I love your mechanic!! Wish I could find one like that in Canada just a no Bullshit kinda guy who does the work, very knowledgable and thorough!! I'm thinking of some suspension upgrades on mine as well. I see you've got a new helmet as well, looks good!!
Thanks man appreciate it. I am lucky to have a good mechanic shop near me, very knowledgable guys and kind enough to teach and show me the process. Your bike is also looking mint, love the new tank 🤩🏍
My bike is very similar to yours. Tec 2 into 1, DNA, Booster Plug. Same YSS upgrade except silver reservoirs. I installed the YSS without drilling the damper rod when I first got it. About 6 months later, I decided to drill it. Drilling makes it MUCH MUCH better than not drilling.
Absolutely stunning build, love the changes you're making, will be sure to take a look at all the trips you've made as well - great inspiration for my own trips :) I also have the YSS upgrades, only fitted rear so far but I heard front is amazing difference!
Yes upgraded the full system. It has definitely improved the ride quality, Feels particularly stable in higher speed as well as cornering. Highly recommended upgrade.
@@theoceanpilot Thank You so much, but I have a weird quution. Did you ever consider using PreLoad adjusters for front stock suspension? Or do you know someone who might be able to get me this answer, I couldn't gather much info on this thing.

Thanks Chris I really appreciate that! I can definitely recommend the front fork upgrade kit from YSS, The best upgrade I’ve done on the bike 🏍
She's looking, sounding and handling better than ever 👌
Thank you Adam! 🙏
Sorry cannot hear you. Would it be possible to increase the volume and re-load it to YT?

Just wondering, what’s your ethnicity, turkish ?
Está perfecta ❤
Waiting for your long term review.
The front stock suspension is really stiff.
The suspension has been performing really well so far, much more stable as well as absorbing the bumps better. Highly recommend upgrade.

@@ArkajyotiChoudhury No I’m afraid and don’t know anyone who has adjusted the original ones. I would suggest browsing on the Forums
@@theoceanpilot All right, I'll look for online forums and discussions.
Congratulations on installing the YSS suspensions! Just came across your channel, I love the content you are making! Subbed!
Thank you very much Srinivas, appreciate it 😊
