The fingering for middle B-flat is usually the register key + the A key, but I find that additionally putting down your index and ring finger on the D and C key holes (or A and G for upper register) to have a much richer and clearer sound - but not the E or F key holes. The top two side keys can also be used to play that C within the staff when you're fingering middle B-flat.
