When I saw someone had attempted a version of this on the piano my instinctive thought was "This will never work" but I'm astonished to find I was quite quite wrong. Indeed this is epic - and one of those 450+ likes is me. That said I wish you'd just taken a bit of the pace off it. Just that bit slower and it would be near perfect.

I'm a fan of classical music and soundtracks, and Hans Zimmer excelled himself when he created the Chevaliers de Sangreal the theme. So much so it's my favourite piece of music, and has been since I heard it when the The Da Vinci Code film came out. I'm therefore critical of renditions of it, and Ares, gotta be said, your rendition is good. Very good. Very very good. Kudos to you sir! :-)

I agree with CC25Y. You should slow it down a bit. When I hear the original music I imagine a river running slowly through a peaceful forest. I don't play the piano myself so maybe I'm not the right person to ANY advice at all, but I think that if you sit down, relax and find you inner peace then you'd be able to slow down the music. Then it would soun a little better. Don't take this the wrong way. What you played sounded fantastic and I really like it and I'd wish i could play just as well.
Perhaps you might have a midi file for this? That would be quite useful. I have a player piano that takes midi files and plays them. This would be a great one!

It's a Zimmermann baby grand piano, but a rather old one and it was not quite in tune at the time I recorded this
