Not only did they get it wrong but they don't care about the harm they have done. They make no apologies and don't try to correct their errors.
What i cant get over is these people who say this is a Christian country who never go to church who never do anything "christian" And who generally live against its teachings just so they can criticise other folks.
Such hypocrisy.
And before anyone asks I don't believe in god
Poor education is one aspect of socioeconomic disparity
Conspiracies exist in reality or as a theory. Problem is social media is a great breeding ground for weird ideas. Critical thinking is essential in our 😂contemporary society .
The bible says the end of the world will come about by people becoming polarised... 😪
The idea that violence erupted because of social media is a conspiracy theory. How's that for irony.
Yet critacal thinking isn't taught in our schools. You are absolutely correct
Conspires are the fodder of weak people, in an attempt to appear strong.
And how many people can really manage critical thinking?
@@ianlayton6949 Hi Ian - very few on the Left. Leftism is linked with Cluster B disorders like Egocentrism.
Unless they actively do something to stop it, owners of social media platforms should face the same criminal charges as those who use their platforms to commit hate crimes.
You've hit the nail on the head about education, but I fear the people that need to be educated far too entrenched to listen. It is easier to fool people that convince them that they have been fooled & you only have to see brexit & all the lies that the far right peddle to see that.
@paulroberts7544 You make a good point about how does anyone know that they haven't been fooled instead. Unwittingly, you've answered your own question - opinions.
I don't rely on the opinions of others, I rely on facts & truth & I don't mean the alternative facts the far right like to peddle (eg, "truth social," GB "News," etc). It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that the nonsense Fartage, Trump, Tommeh & so on knock out is unsubstantiated cobblers & any bit of unbiased research will bear that out. In fact, they rely on the stupidity of their followers to swallow their lies without questioning it. Their fans are all too eager to have their fears fed by their leaders.
For instance, Tommeh & the far right couldn't wait to flood the internet that this killer was a Syrian refugee. These -true patriots- knuckleheads ate it up & the next thing you know, they're on the rampage getting hit round the head & knackers with bricks while the actual truth says otherwise.
Perhaps these manipulators rely on the stupidity of their supporter base, after all, Trump said he loved the poorly educated & when you look at who is on which side in the intelligence stakes, the far right are pretty fkn dense by & large. That isn't opinion, it's a fact & that's why it's so easy for their leaders to play the chumps like a cheap fiddle. And the truth of that statement can be borne out by the Jan 6th insurrection, the far right riots currently underway, the non stop populist gaslighting Fartage pumps out daily & so on. Maybe the true arseholes are the leaders of the far right & those that peddle "alternative facts." Maybe.
'The Riot Act is very clear' Timmy, do you sometimes wonder if you may be living a little behind the times?
I think Musk has took the tweXt down.. 👍👍
So much for Starmer's honeymoon period.
Tommy's perfect revenge plan for the Blair years. Although the Tories didn't solve the immigration issue they talked a good game and TR hedged his bets. Him and Farage are definitely working together unfortunately.
He will become more despised than Thatcher this is a given
Sane people will judge Starmer and Labour on what good they do for the country rather than how nasty they are to immigrants.
Elon Musk !!!!!!!!!!
And that's all I have to say about the creature.
These situations do not just happen overnight. Apart from trying to ban protests- even peacful ones where have the Tories been?
I arrived in London as a child of nine. With a family, of course. As per the immigrant experience, we had been forced to leave a lovely big house and a simpler society (Dublin), for a squat terrace in North London. Finchley, to be precise. Yes, that Finchley. It was 1972 and the high street of Ballards Lane was full of middle class gentility. Half-day closing was still a thing and there was an old fashioned store with marble counters at the top of our road (Walton Hassel & Port). Before long, a huge Tesco's would come along and decimate the local shops. At first, the natives were very foreign to us. They were cold, it seemed, and tight lipped, their conversations as clipped as the garden hedges. What would make a difference was knowing we were not alone. London, even in the poshest parts, was full of blow-ins. On our road there were two large Asian families who had been expelled from Idi Amin's Uganda, robbed of their wealth on the way. There was the deli run by Toni the Greek where the owner's nephew had a Saturday job (George Michael). There were the jewish bakers, excellent for fresh bread on a Sunday morning, and then there was my father's friend of many years, his pharmacist, where amazingly enough, over the filling of prescriptions, their friendship survived many a heated discussion on the Israel-Gaza conflict. Later influxes of immigrants would come ... the Japanese executives starting in Finchley, then late centring around Wembley, the Turks spreading out from Stoke Newington, while the Poles took the place of the declining Irish population, installing our new kitchens with tremendous industry. All this is the story of mass urbanisation, but the really impressive feat of such migration is the manner in which each new wave is absorbed and how London still is London. Different, but essentially, the same. Now, what I've always had cause to admire most about my fifty-plus years in this country is its abiding sense of tolerance. Enoch Powell was firmly shouted down and kept in his corner, the National Front similarly quelled, and later the BNP. Where has it gone? Is it still there? I believe it is, but what we are having to battle is the reemergence of the bovver boys. Just like in the Black Shirt days, thugs marshalled by posh blokes in their Saville Row suits and Havanas to create a lot of mischief. Assisted, indisputably by Russia's destabilising forces. That, and our isolation now from the EU.
What is to become of us. Well, one of the things we badly need to reset is our media. Some say the right wing balance is a myth, but how does anyone explain how the Tories were thrown out of parliament in such huge numbers and yet they are on our screens as never before, and we can include Jonathan Ashworth in that. Horrible egotists who are daily indulged in their delusion that the ballot box does not count, and can be ignored. That's just one starting point, but the reclaiming of simple moral decency has to begin now. Immigration in this nation is a fact of life, and a good fact of life. As I say to folk ... your canals, your railways and your motorways didn't build themselves. 250 years on, it's about time this country recognised how well it has done out of all those who have some to this country.
The best solution might be to Nationalise the local internet and put it in public hands.
As someone who's very speech I don't like it, I don't trust the government, but given everything we've seen recently it might be for the best.
Wise words.
Education is the key.
We need to connect the UK populous with answers to all the big questions that don't seem readily accessible.
Hello, I think you are missing the bigger picture. I have watched a few of your Vids now and you go on about education and how you think this will fix the problem, it will only be a partial fix but will further increase the divide. 1st Tommy is not far right if anything he is a libertarian. He has not changed view in the 12 years I have read about him, yes he is now a figure head and that is not going to change, he has become the catalyst of the working class who see your country being changed demographically and with people whos religion is closure to Stalinism. 2nd your prime minister has seized on this to gain more power facial recognition denying people the right to travel??? My family visited China last year to see family WE COULD NOT GO ANYWHERE without being checked I.D face recognition everything, this is what is coming for you if you go along with this. 3rd I know you mean well but you are in the fight for your country and your Identity, you need to step up because if you don't well I don't want to think about that. I'm from Aus. I think we are about 7 years behind you in regards to immigration but it is an increasing problem and growing by the day.
I cannot walk down a street with my grandchildren alone, because I am afraid that I may not be able to protect them.. What are you missing here?
Well that is just silly
@@mattyfrommacc1554 Tell that to the parents of the Southport Atrocity - I double dare ya.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but you are building walls for yourself and you grandchildren. Millions of us walk free and safe every day and the more of us that do that, the safer the world is. Don't let anyone manipulate you into being frightened to go out and don't confuse hazard with risk.
A right wing rioting mob is a frightening sight. Turn and walk away.
Maybe you ought to lay off GBeebies for a week or two.
The seemingly sudden rise of naked violence by the far right in the UK is in my opinion closely related to the landslide victory of Labour in the recent GE.
Prior to the election and especially with the Tory Party campaign in disarray split between its right and far-right wings Reform UK was hopeful that it had a chance of picking up a significant number of ex-Tory seats - especially those seats in the former Labour 'Red-Wall' that had turned Tory in support of Johnson the 2019 GE.
But despite blowing every dog-whistle they could in the election campaign, Reform UK only got 5 seats of 650 and that despite winning 14% of the total national vote. But that 14% is thinly spread and only in 5 constituencies was it enough to reflect the majority of voters living there.
So the 'mere' 5 seats held by Reform UK in the Commons is perfectly correct and they do not 'deserve more' - as both Farage and Tice complained they had a 'right' to in post election media interviews.
Both darkly talked of Reform UK (and right wing viewpoints in general) being somehow underhandedly suppressed and that this would result in the (far) right losing confidence in democracy and taking more direct action on the streets and in protests.
The fact is though that all extremists - be they left, right or religious in nature - have no time for democracy at all. They all believe only they 'know the truth' and that everyone will in the end be forced to follow this truth.
Farage knows full well what he is doing "asking questions" as an MP. He is giving a nod & a wink to those mobile mobs that Starmer talked of in his statement to the press yesterday at No 10.
Yes, the similarities between the far left and far right's rhetoric and protestations when met with the force of the state are amazing to behold, and they both turn around and justify the force when it's used on "the enemy".
"When I am Weaker Than You, I ask you for Freedom because that is according to your principles; when I am Stronger than you, I take away your Freedom Because that is according to my principles." (Dune)
@@3brenm we just held a transparent fair democratic election and the result is clear which is that except in 5 if 650 constituencies the support for the white Christo-nationalist ideology of parties like Reform UK is paper thin.
However as I pointed out all extremists of whatever stripe believe they alone know the truth and they cannot accept that a majority others don’t agree with them so they resort to ‘direct action’ aka use of violence and disruption of society.
With all due respect Tim I do agree that we have been poorly educated in school and should have been taught more critical thinking in regards to politics and law to enable us to see the pantomime that is our government and has been for many years ... people have now woken up to what's been going on and are now making a stand as they've had enough
No to censorship
There are laws against poison pen letters and threatening phone calls, why can't those laws be extended to cover social media posts? If that had been done right at the beginning of the internet I think there would be far fewer problems today. It doesn't matter about the platform - the post office was never at fault for delivering poison pen letters. If presented with a warrant the platforms should have to identify the miscreants.
'Kind' can be very hard work, but people remember 'kind'. Worth it then.
Tim, I am reminded a bit of Oz the Moz whom I am sure you remember even if most of the youngsters won't. Let's get back to good honest values especially in the media
And government
We live in a small English village, and the village school has under 80 pupils. My son, now 35 was about seven when we had visitors from the ME for supper. My husband used to do a lot of business in the ME. While the children were running about the garden the wife was bewailing the lack of education of other religions in the UK. "No one knows anything about Islam here" she said. At which point my son came over to the table and said "I do" and proceeded to explain the five pillars to her. She was amazed, and oh my goodness was I proud, and I told his teacher the next day what a great job she had done. They had also visited a mosque.

I think complaining about Nationalist rallies and the cops being too hard at some of these rallies actually further radicalizes people tbh. It is seen as proof of their theories not as fear of far right nationalism. We need to find a way to allow the moderate non racist/non rioting nationalist right to speak and be heard by us and not only by the far right. I don't think, for example, civic nationalism or immigration policy is inherently dangerous, but when radicalized it certainly is.

Robinson actually knows very little about Islam and the Quran, but he gives the impression to his supporters that he does. Peter McLoughlin wrote most of that book you referred to, the one that was removed from sale, with Robinson contributing very little to it. Robinson is discussing but I worry that we are approaching a tipping point. Many 'middle class' folk who cannot described as far right are seriously concerned about what is widely seen as ineffective governance of our social cohesion. The people I know and associate with and who voted 'normally' during the election are on the borderline of moving to the right given the legal opportunity of doing so. Multi culturalism has been. and is being, mismanaged.
Given the enormous scale it is very very unsurprising that multi culturalism is a massive fail. A fail in that there is no social cohesion between cultures. Add 30 or 40 years of underinvestment in almost every area there is a massive infrastructure gap for the extra people. It is ideal territory for trouble differences and shortage. All you hear from tone death Starmer is we will hunt the people but only if they are not a minority. Note in London the police where arresting people for nothing and even violently so, this will not build cohesion.

Shortly after the recent election results came out Farage spoke to the media and claimed the fact that Reform won 14% of the national vote but only won election in 5 constituencies was somehow a plot to keep right wing views down. This is nonsense. The result shows that only in 5 of 650 constituencies is there a majority of voter support for Reform and that the 14% vote nationally is spread very thin. So the 5 MP’s Reform won does reflect the reality which is that except in a very few areas there is no support for far right policies.

Actually I was having a little think about these people, since I've been following them myself. It seems to me that all they are is a product of our press. Our press are using these people as a a scapegoat for the failure of the policies they support. So their politics is all about what the press say about them and how much support they have. It's an entirely reactionary thing and therefore isn't a political movement. It's a 'stop lying to/about us movement'. For someone interested in politics, I find they are very shallow, but it's all my social media feeds me re news from Britain.
If you are simply reacting, you are not doing politics per se, rather you are having a cry about it. If you do politics then you need a manifesto. These people don't have a manifesto any more than a baby has one when it has lost its rattle. If they should ever get to take power I think they would be an utter disaster. Indeed it reminds me of the French Revolution. Everyone wanted it until it actually happened. The moral of that story is, don't play with evil. For Christians it is the practice to avoid evil except when you are needed as a knight in shining armour to go and save an innocent person from it. In the modern Britain, this would be like cancelling your subscription to the Daily Mail, the arch rabble rousers.

Whenever I hear people chanting that, it sounds like you're saying "Who's treats? arse treats".. I think Gay Pride ought to adopt it for a bit of a giggle.

What i cant get over is these people who say this is a christian country who never go to church who never do anything "christian" And who generally live against its teachings just so they can criticise other folks.
Such hypocrisy.
